｢종본의｣에 대한 주석(注釋)의 특징 연구

국문 초록

󰡔조론󰡕 서두(序頭)에 붙은 ｢종본의｣는 ｢물불천론｣·｢부진공론｣·｢반야무지론｣·｢열반무명론｣의 내용을 요약한 짧은 글이다. 󰡔조론󰡕의 주석서 가운데 일부는 ｢종본의｣를 해석했고, 어떤 책은 ｢종본의｣ 자체를 싣고 있지 않다. 본고는 ｢종본의｣에 대한 해석을 수록하고 있는 주석서 7종의 특징을 비교 분석했다. 그 결과 반야·중관사상으로 ｢종본의｣를 해석한 󰡔원강소󰡕, 󰡔조론중오집해󰡕·󰡔조론집해령모초󰡕, 󰡔조론략주󰡕 등의 단락 구분이 서로 다름을 확인했다. 󰡔주조론소󰡕·󰡔절석조론󰡕·󰡔조론신소󰡕는 화엄사상과 󰡔대승기신론󰡕에 입각해 ｢종본의｣를 설명한 것이 특색이며, 󰡔조론략주󰡕는 ｢종본의｣ 분석을 통해 조론 전체를 통괄(統括)하는 견해를 제시하고 있음에 주목했다. 다시 말해 󰡔조론략주󰡕에 나오는 “속제를 말한 ｢물불천론｣과 진제를 설명한 ｢부진공론｣은 관찰 대상에 해당되고 ｢반야무지론｣은 관찰하는 주체의 지혜를 설명하기에 세 편은 원인이며, 열반을 설명한 ｢열반무명론｣은 과(果)가 된다.”는 감산의 의견은 음미할 가치가 있다고 보았다.

영문 초록

ZongBenYi(宗本義), which summarizes the contents of WuBuQianLun(物不遷論), BuZhenKongLun(不眞空論), BoReWu–ZhiLun(般若無知論), and NiePanWuMingLun(涅槃無名論) in ZhaoLun(肇論), is short but implicit. Some of the annotations in ZhaoLun have interpreted ZongBenYi, and some books do not contain ZongBenYi itself. This paper compares and analyzes the characteristics of seven kinds of annotations containing the interpretation of ZongBenYi. As a result, it was confirmed that the paragraphs of YuanKangSu(元康疏), ZhaoLunZhongWuJiJie(肇論中吳集解)·ZhaoLunJiJieLingMoChao(肇論集解令模鈔),and ZhaoLunLüeZhu(肇論略注), which interpreted ZongBenYi, are different from each other. ZhuZhaoLunSu(注肇論疏), JieShiZhaoLun(節釋肇論), and ZhaoLunXinSu(肇論新疏) are characterized by understanding ZongBenYi based on Hwaeom(華嚴) thought and DaChengQiXinLun(大乘起信論), and ZhaoLunLüeZhu suggests the whole view of ZhaoLun through analysis of ZongBenYi. In other words, the perspective of HanShan(憨山) that WuBuQianLun which refers to the conventional truth(俗諦) and BuZhenKongLun which explains the ultimate truth(眞諦) are the object of observation and BoReWuZhiLun explains the wisdom of the observer, and that these three articles are the cause and NiePanWuMingLun which explains the nirvana is the effect, is the standpoint was worthy of savoring.
