영문 초록

In this study, the author intended to establish correlationship between psychosocial stress and anxiety proneness. Sampling of the subjects was done by 3 stage clustered stratified probability proportional extraction methods from 18 psychiatric hospitals and clinics nationwide representing 428 subjects. Sampled subjects were investigated by psyciatric interview and questionnaire survey. Assessment of psychosocial stresses was done by Korean social readjustment rating scale, which had developed by Lee, Peong Suk(1984) and measurement of anxiety level was evaluated by using SAS designed by Zung(l97l). Collected data were processed through SPSS program. Statistical methods employed were Chi-square test, F-test, and Multiple regression analysis. Summary of the results were as follows : 1) Psychosocial stress was positively correlated with anxiety trend of psychiatric inpatient. Among psychosocial stresses, health stress, job stress, family stress were significantly correlated with anxiety trend, while social stress showed inversed correlationship with anxiety trend. 2) Health stress was closely related with musculo-skeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal anxiety symptoms, while job stress were related with psychological, skin and CNS anxiety symptoms. 3) Multiple regression analysis revealed that psychosocial stress was significantly correlated with CNS and G-I anxiety symptoms in the order named. 4) Multiple regression analysis revealed that of all anxiety symptoms, paresthesia and nightmare had significant correlationship with psycho-social stress in the order named.
