성덕의 소명에 관한 현상학적 연구: ‘이냐시오 순례길’ 체험을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 ‘이냐시오 순례길’을 체험한 그리스도인들의 체험을 분석하여 그들이 순례 체험을 자신들의 삶의 자리에서 어떻게 구현하며 살아가고 있는지를 탐색하는것이다. 이를 통해 ‘이냐시오 순례길’이 오늘날 그리스도인들의 살아 있는 영적 생활로한 걸음 더 진보할 수 있도록 돕는 하나의 길로 제시하고자 한다. 연구 목적을 위한 연구방법은 현상학적 질적연구방법을 원용하였다. 자료 수집은 연구참여자의 1대 1 심층면담의 방법을 취하였고, 이후 순례 체험의 의미와 본질을 분석하였다. 연구결과 ‘고달픈나의 존재’, ‘하느님께 간구하는 절실한 마음’, ‘성 이냐시오의 자취’, ‘성 이냐시오의 거룩한 행위를 기억’, ‘성덕의 일상을 살아가려는 노력’, ‘하느님 나라를 실현하기 위한 나의 소명’이라는 6개의 본질적 주제와 12개의 드러난 주제가 도출되었다. 본 연구의 결과에서 중요한 의미는 연구참여자들의 삶의 변화였다. 곧 자신들의 약함을 덜어내려는 노력을 통해 성덕의 삶을 살려고 했다. 개인의 이익보다는 이타적인 삶을 살려고 노력했고, 세상 속에서도 하느님의 뜻을 찾고자 했으며, 자신들의 소명에 대해 고민하게 되었다. 이러한 변화는 ‘이냐시오 순례길’ 체험과 밀접한 관련이 있었다. 따라서 ‘이냐시오 순례길’ 은 오늘날 그리스도인들이 세상 속에서 성덕의 소명에 충실히 응답하여 성화의 길로 나아갈 수 있도록 돕는다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the experiences of Christians who have journeyed along the ‘El Camino Ignaciano’ and to explore how they integrate their pilgrimage experience into their daily lives. In doing so, this study aims to present the ‘El Camino Ignaciano’ as a way to help Christians take a step forward into a living spiritual life today. This research employs a phenomenological qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth, one-on-one interviews with the participants, and the meaning and nature of the pilgrimage experience were then analyzed. The results of the study revealed six essential themes and twelve emergent themes: “My suffering existence”, “My urgent need to pray to God”, “St. Ignatius’s traces”, “Remembering St. Ignatius’s holy deeds”, “Striving to live a daily life in response to the call to holiness”, and “My vocation to realize the kingdom of God”. A key implication of these findings is the transformative impact of the pilgrimage on participants’ lives. They sought to live out their the call to holiness through efforts to mitigate their personal shortcomings, embracing selflessness over self-interest, seeking to find God’s will in the world, and contemplating their vocation. These changes were closely related to the experience on the ‘El Camino Ignaciano’. Consequently, this pilgrimage serves as a spiritual catalyst, helping contemporary Christians respond faithfully to the call to holiness and progress on their journey of sanctification.
