국문 초록

본 논문은 『東人詩話』를 구성하고 있는 텍스트의 문헌적 배경을 분석한 것이다. 『동인시화』에 인용된 송ㆍ원대 시화집에 대한 분석은 선행 연구에도 밝혀진 바가 있기 때문에, 본고에서는 기존 성과를 보충하거나 재고할 여지가 부분을 크게 세 가지로 정리해 보았다. 첫 번째, 『精選唐宋千家聯珠詩格』(이하, 『연주시격』)의 인용 사례이다. 『연주시격』은 詩格을 중심으로 七言絶句를 모은 시선집으로, 조선 전기에 절구 학습서로 널리 알려졌다. 『동인시화』에서는 ‘蔡蒙齋聯珠詩格’이라고 하여 서명이 직접 드러나 있고, 네 차례 인용된 정황을 확인했다. 인용된 내용은 대체로 다른 시화집이나 시선집에서 찾아보기 어려운 元代 문인들의 작품이었다. 두 번째, 宋代 승려인 覺範惠洪의 저서가 인용된 사례이다. 각범혜홍의 저서는 고려와 조선에 널리 유통되었는데, 일례로 李仁老는 『破閑集』에서 『冷齋夜話』ㆍ『筠溪集』을 보았다고 했다. 서거정은 『동인시화』에서 『甘露集』에 있는 시구를 소개했다. 『냉재야화』는 각범혜홍의 시화집이고, 『균계집』과 『감로집』은 그의 문집에서 일부를 뽑아서 엮은 것이다. 그 외에도 『동인시화』에는 각범혜홍의 언설이나 그의 작품을 인용한 것이 드러나는 것으로 보아, 서거정이 그의 작품을 즐겨 읽고 인용했다는 것을 짐작할 수 있다. 세 번째, 金ㆍ元代 문헌으로 元好問의 『中州集』을 인용한 사례가 확인된다. 『중주집』은 金代 시인의 작품을 모은 시선집으로, 李齊賢의 『櫟翁稗說』에도 인용된 정황이 확인된다. 한편, 구체적인 서적을 거론할 수는 없지만, 趙孟頫의 작품이 『동인시화』에 인용된 사례도 주목할 만하다. 그의 작품은 『元文類』ㆍ『元詩體要』ㆍ『鼓吹續編』과 같은 시문선집이나 그와 교유했던 국내 문인들을 통해 유입되었을 가능성이 있다. 그밖에 『동인시화』에 실린 元代 작가[四家]에 대한 비유적인 표현도 좀 더 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 『동인시화』에 인용된 표현의 출처는 찾을 수 없었으나, 이를 계기로 조선 전기에 직ㆍ간접적인 교유가 있었을 원대 문학에 대한 연구가 적극적으로 이루어져야 한다고 생각한다. 이것은 궁극적으로 조선 전기 한시 비평의 인식 구조와 이론적 토대를 밝히는 데 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study investigates the bibliographical sources underlying the compilation of Dongin-Sihwa(『東人詩話』), a representative Korean poetry critique anthology of the early Joseon period. While previous research has already identified many of the Song and Yuan dynasty Chinese poetry discourse texts cited in Dongin Sihwa, this paper aims to supplement or reconsider these findings through three focal areas. First, the study examines the citation of Jingxuan Tang-Song Qianjia Lianzhu Shige (『精選唐宋千家聯珠詩格』, hereafter Lianzhu Shige), a widely used poetry primer for jueju(絶句) during the Joseon dynasty. The text is explicitly named as “Cai Mengzhai's Lianzhu Shige(蔡蒙齋聯珠詩格)” and cited at least four times in Dongin Sihwa, mostly with reference to Yuan-dynasty poets whose works are rarely found in other anthologies. Second, this study examines the citations of texts authored by the Song-dynasty monk Juefan Huihong(覺範惠洪). His works were widely circulated in both the Goryeo and early Joseon periods. For instance, Yi In-ro(李仁老) mentions having read Lengzhai Yehuo(『冷齋夜話』) and YunxiJi(筠谿集) in his collection Pahanjip(『破閑集』). In Dongin Sihwa, Seo Geo-jeong cites a poetic line from Ganlu Ji(『甘露集』), another collection attributed to Huihong. While Lengzhai Yehuo is known as Huihong’s poetic discourse anthology, Yunxi Ji and Ganlu Ji are compilations of selected writings from his broader oeuvre. The frequent appearance of Huihong’s statements and poems throughout Dongin Sihwa suggests that Seo Geo-jeong was deeply familiar with and appreciative of his literary contributions. Third, this paper identifies instances where ZhongzhouJi(中州集), an anthology compiled by Yuan Haowen(元好問), is referenced. As a major repository of Jin-dynasty poetry, ZhongzhouJi was also cited in Yi Ji-hyeon’s Yeokong Paeseol(『櫟翁稗說』). Although specific sources are not always mentioned, the appearance of Zhao Mengfu(趙孟頫)’s poetry in Dongin Sihwa is noteworthy. His works may have circulated through Chinese anthologies such as Yuanwenlei(『元文類』), Yuanshitiyao(『元詩體要』), and Guchui Xubian(『鼓吹續編』), or through direct interaction with Korean literati during the Yuan period. In addition, the paper discusses metaphorical appraisals of the so-called “Four Masters” (四家) of the Yuan dynasty featured in Dongin-Sihwa, emphasizing the need for further investigation into literary exchanges between Korea and Yuan China. By uncovering these bibliographical layers and referencing practices, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of the structure of poetic critique in early Joseon and the theoretical foundations upon which it was built.
