국문 초록

본 연구는 전공자율선택제와 교양교육, 그리고 정부의 대학재정지원사업 간의 시너지 창출 방안을모색한다. 최근 대학 정책은 ‘벽을 허무는 것’에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 이를 통해 대학 간, 학문 간, 지역 간의 경계를 허물고 융합과 연결성을 강화하는 방향으로 나아가고 있다. 이러한 맥락에서, 본논문은 자율전공선택제와 교양교육이 어떻게 상호보완적 역할을 수행하며, 미래 인재 양성과 지역경제활성화에 기여할 수 있는지 분석한다. 특히, ‘연결성(connectivity)’을 핵심 키워드로 삼아, 생태계적관점에서 정책과 제도의 통합적 접근을 제시하며, 이를 위한 구체적 정책 과제와 실천 방안을 제안한다. 또한, 교양교육의 정체성과 역할 재정립, 그리고 제도 간 연계성을 강화하는 방안을 통해 대학 혁신과지역사회 발전에 기여하는 전략적 방향성을 모색한다. 본 연구는 정책적, 교육적, 생태계적 관점이융합된 통합적 분석을 통해, 대학과 지역사회의 지속가능한 발전을 위한 실천적 시사점을 제공한다.

영문 초록

This study explores the potential for creating synergy among the autonomous major selection system, liberal education, and government-funded university support programs. Recent higher education policies focus on breaking down barriers—between disciplines, institutions, and regions—to foster integration and connectivity. In this context, the paper analyzes how the autonomous major system and liberal education can complement each other to foster future talent development and regional economic revitalization. Emphasizing “connectivity” as a core concept, the study presents an ecological perspective on policy and institutional integration, proposing specific policy tasks and practical strategies. It also discusses the redefinition of the identity and role of liberal education, along with strengthening inter-system linkages, to support university innovation and regional development. Through a comprehensive analysis that combines policy, educational, and ecological viewpoints, this research offers practical insights for sustainable growth of universities and regional communities.
