국문 초록

본 연구는 학교 밖 청소년을 대상으로 게임중독에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하기 위하여 공교육 중단 후 경험할 수 있는 사회적 낙인감, 친구애착, SNS 가해경험을 선행연구로부터 중요변인을 도 출하였다. 이를 토대로 각각의 변인이 게임중독에 미치는 영향력을 확인하기 위하여 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 한국청소년정책연구원에서 실시한「학업중단 청소년 패널 조사 및 지 원방안 연구」의 5차년도 패널데이터 318명을 분석에 활용하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교 밖 청소년을 대상으로 게임중독에 영향을 미치는 변인들의 전반적 경향성은 남학생의 경 우, 게임중독, 사회적 낙인감, SNS 가해경험에 대하여 여학생보다 높게 나타났다. 반면 여학생의 경 우 친구애착이 남학생보다 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 학교 밖 청소년의 게임중독은 사회적 낙인감과 SNS 가해경험과는 정적 상관을 나타내었다. 반면 친구애착은 게임중독과 부적상관을 가지고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 중다회귀분석 결과 게임중독을 증가시키는 변인으로 사회적 낙인감을 확인하였으며, 친구애착은 게임중독을 감소시키는 유의미한 영향력을 확인할 수 있었다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 연구결과를 바탕으로 학교 밖 청소년의 건강한 삶을 위하여 다양한 관점에서 해결방 안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The current study derived from preceding studies social stigma, attachment to friends, and SNS offending behavior, which youth outside school may experience after school, as major variables to identify the factors affecting game addiction. Based on them, multiple regression was conducted to identify how each variable affects game addiction. The subjects of study were the 318 panels in the data of National Youth Policy Institute's 「Study on School Dropout Youth Panel Survey and Support Measures」 from the fifth year. The following are the discussions based on the major findings of the analysis: First, in terms of the general tendencies of variables affecting game addiction of youth outside school, game addition, social stigma, and SNS offending behavior were higher for male students compared to female students. On the other hand, attachment to friends was higher for female students compared to male students. Second, game addiction of youth outside school had a positive correlation with social stigma and SNS offending behavior. On the other hand, attachment to friends had a negative correlation with game addiction. Lastly, social stigma was identified as a variable contributing to game addiction as a result of multiple regression analysis, while attachment to friends reduced game addiction with statistical significance. Based on these findings, the current study suggested solutions from various perspectives for the healthy lives of youth outside school.
