국문 초록

본 연구는 우리나라 ADHD를 가진 자녀를 둔 어머니들을 대상으로 어머니의 배경변인(학력 수준, 취업유무, 부모교육 참여 경험 유무, 가정의 월수입)에 따른 양육행동 차이 비교와 함께 자녀의 ADHD 증상 및 공격성과 어머니의 양육행동과의 관계를 분석하였다. ADHD로 진단받은 후 약물치료를 받고 있는 초등학생 남아의 어머니 85명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 자료분석 결과 어머니의 학력수준이 높고, 부모교육 참여 경험이 있는 경우 보다 온정․격려적인 양육행동을 보였지만, 가정의 경제수준과 어머니의 취업유무는 어머니의 양육행동에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 아동의 ADHD증상은 어머니의 온정․격려적 양육행동과 부적 상관을 가지는 반면, 거부․방임적 양육행동과는 정적 상관을 보였다. 또한 자녀의 공격성은 어머니의 거부․방임적 양육행동과 정적 상관을 보였다.

영문 초록

This study is the relationships among child behavioral and mother's demographic characteristics and parenting behaviors used by mothers of children diagnosed with ADHD. Eighty five mothers of children with diagnosed with ADHD were asked to assess the severity of their child's attention-deficit/hyperactivity, disruptive behavior, and their own parenting behavior. Results indicated that higher mother education and experience of parent training were associated with the use of more positive parenting behaviors. But There were not significant difference among the groups according to the degrees of family income. There were not reliable differences between employed and unemployed mothers with child diagnosed with ADHD. ADHD symptoms and disruptive behavior were associated negatively with mother's wormth parenting behaviors and positively with mother's rejection parenting behaviors.
