통합교육 문제점에 대한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 통합교육 당사자들을 만나 심층 면담한 내용을 분석하여 사회, 정서적 통합과 통합교육의 질적인 향상을 도모하기 위해 수행하였다. 교육의 4요소 즉 학생, 교육과정, 교사, 교육환경 측면에서 통합교육의 요소별로 심층면담을 실시하였고 통합교육의 긍정적인 면과 부정적인 면을 질적 연구법에 따라 분석하여 비교하였다. 장애아동의 입장과 일반아동의 입장에서 통합교육이 지닌 긍정적인 면과 부정적인 면을 비교하여 서술하였고 특수학급 교사, 통합학급 교사, 일반아동 학부모, 장애아동 학부모가 인식하고 있는 통합교육 요소들에 대한 현 실태와 만족도를 비교 분석하였다. 통합교육을 통해 장애아동은 사회성을 신장시키는 반면 괴롭힘을 당하기도 하였고, 일반아동은 장애에 대한 편견을 줄이고 봉사정신을 기르는 반면 학습권을 침해당하기도 하였다. 통합학급에서 장애아동은 적절한 교육을 제공받지 못하는 경우가 많았고 적절한 배치에 대한 의견도 서로 달랐다. 또한 장애아동에 대한 수용적인 태도를 갖기 위한 학부모 연수에 대한 요구가 있었다.

영문 초록

This study focused on the social and emotional integration problems of inclusive education. Met the inclusion of the parties interviewed in-depth analysis of the contents and consolidation to improve the quality of education was carried out to promote. The positives and negatives of four components of education, students, curriculum, teachers, and the educational environment were analysis using qualitative research methods. These positive and negative aspects were determined by comparing the special education teachers, classroom teachers to integrate, normal children, parents and children with disabilities and parents in order to recognize the current state of integrated education. In regards to education, the social integration of children with disabilities can be mutually beneficial to both the disabled children and the other children in their natural school environment. Social integration reduce prejudice against children with disabilities and faster the spirit of a service oriented mind. However children with disabilities in integrated classes have not always received the appropriate attention they required. In addition parents need to have a more receptive attitude for children with disabilities integration into the classroom.
