장애대학생 지원 프로그램 분석

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 장애학생의 고등교육에 대한 이론과 현장의 실제를 종합적으로 분석하고 시 사점을 도출하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 첫째, 2005년 이후에 발표된 장애대학생 관련 선행연 구 205편을 「장애학생의 고등교육 접근 및 학생 성공을 위한 분류체계(Taxonomy for Postsecondary Access and Student Success, PASS)」를 활용하여 ① 학생-중심 지원, ② 프로그램 및 기관 중심의 지원, ③ 교수 및 스태프 중심의 지원, ④ 개념 및 시스템 개발의 4가지 영역으로 중복 코딩하여 분석하였다. 둘째, 대학 교육 현장에서 장애 대학생들에게 제공되고 있는 지원을 살펴보기 위해, 2017년도에 실시한 장애대학생 교육복지 지원 우수대학 5개교 장애대학생 실태평 가 결과 보고서의 교수학습 평가부분 및 7개교의 차 년도 장애대학생 지원 사업계획서(교수·학습, 대학생활, 취업진로)를 검토하였다. 연구결과: PASS의 영역 1에 해당하는 연구가 가장 많았으며 (75.1%), 그 뒤를 영역 2(20.2%), 영역 3(3.3%), 영역 4(1.5%)가 그 뒤를 따랐다. 2017년 장애대학 생 교육복지 실태평가 교수학습 평가부문은 교육과정, 평가, 전담 조직, 지원 시설, 프로그램 전체 평가 부문에 걸쳐 교육복지 교수학습 지원체계를 마련하고 있었다. 2018년 장애대학생 지원계획 서를 분석한 결과, ① 교수·학습 측면에서는 수강신청, 도우미, 교수자, 보조공학기기 지원을 수립 하고 있었다. ② 대학생활 측면에서는 학내 이동 및 활동 지원, 전용 공간 및 휴게실 운영, 학내 기관 이용에 필요한 지원계획을 수립하고 있었다. ③ 취업 및 진로지원 측면에서는 주로 상담을 활용하여 적성평가 및 진로탐색, 취업준비 교육을 제공하고 있었다. 결론: 연구 결과에 따른 논의 및 제언사항을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to comprehensively analyze the theories and actual practices of higher education for students with disabilities and to provide implications. Method: First, 205 studies on university students with disabilities, published after year 2005, were analyzed by the Taxonomy for Post-secondary Access and Student Success (PASS). The analysis was conducted by permitting the overlapping coding into four areas: students-focused support, program and institutional-focused support, faculty and staff-focused support, and concept and system development. Second, the teaching and learning section of 「2017 Evaluation Report of Education Welfare for University Students with Disabilities」 and 「2018 Support Project Plans (teaching-learning, university life, and employment & career)」 were reviewed. Results: Most studies were in area 1 of PASS (75.1%), followed by area 2 (20.2%), area 3 (3.3%) and area 4 (1.5%). In 2017, universities with top ranks in Evaluation Report of Education and Welfare for Students with Disabilities prepared systematic support system for students with disabilities across curriculum, evaluation, dedicated organizations, support facilities, and overall evaluation of the program. As analyzing the 「2018 Support Project Plans for Students with Disabilities」, for teaching and learning, universities established course registration, peer supporters, instructors, and supporting assistive technology devices. For university life, the schools established plans to support the movement within and activities of the university, to operate private spaces and lounges, and to use the domestic departments/ institution(s). For employment and career support, counseling was used to provide aptitude evaluation, career search, and job preparation education. Conclusion: Discussions and suggestions were presented according to the research results.
