영문 초록

In recent years, Korean language education in Vietnam has been flourishing not only in universities but also in high schools and foreign language centers. Comparing to 10 years ago, the number of Korean teachers and learners has increased dramatically. Currently, it can be said that Vietnam is a country that has been developing brilliantly in the field of Korean language teaching among Southeast Asian countries. This paper will review the situation of teaching Korean language at major universities and educational institutions in Vietnam. In other words, it can be affirmed that Vietnam's education and research branch in Korean language and Korean studies has grown beyond the stable threshold and is undergoing a drastic change. The paper also proposed directions and solutions for the development of Korean language education and Korean studies in Vietnam in the future.
