아동작업치료사의 감정노동과 직무스트레스가 직무만족도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

연구목적: 이 연구는 아동작업치료사의 감정노동, 직무스트레스가 직무만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 실행되었다. 연구방법: 부산과 인근 지역에 근무하는 76명의 아동작업치료사가 이 설문에 참여하였다. 설문지는 일반적 특성, 감정노동, 직무스트레스, 직무만족도로 구성되어 있다. 연구결과: 아동작업치료사의 감정노동 평균은 3.64±.52, 직무스트레스 평균은 2.33±.42, 직무만족도 평균은 3.67±.52이었다. 학력과 1일 평균 환자 수에 따른 감정노동에 차이가 나타났으며, 근무기관과 1일 평균 환자 수에 따라 직무스트레스에 차이가 있었다. 직무만족도는 학력과 고용상태에 따라 차이가 나타났다. 직무스트레스와 직무만족도는 부적 상관관계를 나타냈으며, 감정노동(감정 부조화)과 직무만족도 사이에서도 부적 상관관계를 보였다. 그리고 감정노동(감정 부조화)과 직무스트레스(보상의 부적절, 자율성 결여, 직무요구)는 아동작업치료사의 직무만족도에 유의한 영향을 주는 요인임을 확인하였다. 결론: 아동작업치료사의 직무만족도 향상을 위해 중재과정에서 감정부조화를 줄일 수 있는 개인 및 조직차원의 대처전략 개발이 필요하다. 또한 작업치료 중재에 대한 적정 수준의 보상체계를 마련하고, 치료과정에 대한 치료사의 자율성을 보장하는 것이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study was carried out to identify the effects of pediatric occupational therapist’s emotional labor and job stress on job satisfaction. Method: This study was conducted through an online survey with 76 pediatric occupational therapists participating in the questionnaire. The questionnaires consisted of general characteristics, emotional labor, job stress, and job satisfaction. Results: The emotional labor, the job stress, and the job satisfaction of the pediatric occupational therapists were average. There was a significant difference in emotional labor according to educational attainment and average daily number of patients. There was a significant difference in job stress according to the type of working organizations and the average daily number of patients. There was a significant difference in job satisfaction according to educational attainment and employment status. Emotional labor and job satisfaction showed a statistically significant negative correlation. Additionally, job stress and job satisfaction showed a statistically significant negative correlation. The emotional labor and the job stress were found to be significant factors that could explain the job satisfaction of the pediatric occupational therapists. Conclusion: In order to improve the job satisfaction of pediatric occupational therapists, it is necessary to develop individual and organizational coping strategies that can reduce emotional labor in the intervention process.
