한국과 일본의 NPO 최종소비지출의 단위구조와 산업간 연계

국문 초록

상호 밀접한 산업간 연관관계를 가지고 있는 한국과 일본은 NPO 부문에서도 연계가 강할 수있다. 선행연구에서도 NPO의 최종소비지출은 한국과 일본 간의 파급되는 효과가 큰 것으로나타났다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 한국과 일본의 내생화된 NPO 최종소비지출이 산업간연계구조에서 어떠한 위상을 나타내는지, NPO와 연관관계가 높은 산업은 무엇인지 살펴보았다. 분석을 위해 본 연구는 세계산업연관표에서 한국과 일본의 산업연관표를 추출한 뒤, NPO 최종소비지출을 내생화하였다. 다음으로 단위구조 모형을 이용해 산업간 연관관계를 패턴화한 후, 사회네트워크분석으로 NPO의 최종소비지출이 다른 산업과 어떠한 연계구조가 나타나는지 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, 일본 NPO 활동의 효과는 대부분 ‘공공행정, 국방 및 의무사회보장’에 집중된 반면, 한국은 ‘기타 서비스 활동’, ‘공공행정, 국방 및 의무사회보장’, ‘교육’ 등에 분산되었다. 이와 같이 일본의 NPO는 주로 행정과 파트너십으로 공공부문의 사회서비스 제공하는 역할을하고 있지만, 시민사회를 중심으로 성장한 한국의 NPO는 사회서비스는 물론 기타 서비스 영역까지 함께 제공하는 역할을 수행하는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

As Korea and Japan have very close inter-industry linkages, it can be judged that the NPO’s activities will be actively linked. Previous studies also showed that the NPO’s final consumption expenditure had a significant ripple effect between korea and Japan. From this point of view, this study examined the status of the NPOs in Korea and Japan in the linkage structure between industries, and what industries are highly related to the NPOs when endogenizing the final consumption expenditure of NPOs. For this purpose, the final consumption expenditure of NPO was endogenized after extracting the Input-Output Table of Korea and Japan from the World Input-Output Table. We also used a unit structure model to pattern inter-industry associations, and then looked at what kind of linkage structure NPO's final consumption expenditure appears with other industries through social network analysis. As a result, most of the effects of NPO activities ‘public administration and defence; compulsory social security’ in Japan. while Korea was dispersed in ‘other service activities’, ‘public administration and defence; compulsory social security’, ‘education’. In other words, in Japan, NPOs play a role in providing social services in the public sector through administration and partnership, whereas in Korea, NPOs are organized around civil society and play a role in providing social services as well as other services.
