국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 SNS를 기반으로 한 사이버범죄 피해의 심각성을 확인하고 이에 대한 문제점과 대응방안을 모색하는 것이다. SNS 기반 사이버 범죄피해는 잠재적 피해자들의 피해에 대한 인식의 결여와 잦은 스마트폰 사용으로 인한 범죄환경의 지속적인 노출이 피해발생률을 증가시킬 수 있다는 것은 사실이지만, SNS 기반 범죄피해 발생 원인이 단순히 피해자들의 부주의 때문으로 간주할 수는 없다. 즉 SNS 프로그램 운영방식의 문제점 또한 범죄피해를 야기하는 원인으로써 작용할 수 있다. 이 연구는 국가통계포털사이트와 경찰청 사이트 자료, 관련 선행연구의 분석을 통한 2차 자료분석, 문헌연구의 방법으로 연구를 수행하였다. 연구의 결과, SNS 기반 사이버 범죄피해의 문제점으로는 1) SNS 이용 연령대의 확대, 2) 개인정보유출 및 사이버 성폭력 피해의 급증, 3) 처벌규정의 부재, 4) 피해예방교육의 부재 등이 지적되었다. 이를 바탕으로 대응방안으로는 1) 연령인증 명확화, 2) 필터링 서비스의 보급개선, 3) 사법적/제도적 대응구축, 4) 사이버 범죄피해 예방교육의 확대가 제시되었다. 끝으로 이 연구의 학술적·정책적 의의와 연구의 한계를 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the seriousness of cyber crime victimization based on SNS and to search for problems and countermeasures. Although it is true that the SNS-based cybercrime damage can lead to an increase in the incidence of damage due to the lack of awareness of the damage of the potential victims and the frequent use of the smartphone in the ongoing exposure of the criminal environment, can not be regarded as the reason. In other words, the problem of SNS program operation method can also act as a cause of crime damage. This study was carried out by analyzing secondary data through analysis of national statistical portal website, police website data, related research, and literature review method. As a result of the study, the problems of cybercrime damage based on SNS are as follows: 1) expansion of age of SNS use, 2) increase of personal information leakage and cyber sexual violence, 3) lack of punishment regulations, 4) absence of damage prevention education. Based on the findings of this study, it was suggested that: 1) clarification of age authentication, 2) improvement of diffusion of filtering services, 3) establishment of judicial / institutional responses, and 4) extension of cybercrime prevention education. Finally, the academic and policy implications of this study and limitations of the research were discussed.
