발달장애자녀를 위한 부모의 평생계획 현황 및 요구

국문 초록

이 연구는 발달장애 자녀를 위한 부모의 평생계획의 전체적인 현황 및 요구를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 관련 문헌과 선행연구를 바탕으로 평생계획을 교육계획, 직업계획, 주거 및 재정계획, 결혼계획, 여가계획의 다섯 가지 영역으로 나누어 설문 문항을 작성하였고, 전국의 발달장애 자녀를 둔 보호자 571명의 설문조사 결과를 분석하였으며 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 발달장애 자녀를 위한 부모의 평생계획 필요성 인식은 교육, 직업, 주거 및 재정, 결혼, 여가계획의 모든 영역에서 매우 높게 나타난 반면, 실제 평생계획의 준비정도는 매우 미흡한 수준이었다. 둘째, 자녀의 장애 정도가 중증이고, 가정의 경제적 여건이 낮을수록 평생계획의 준비 정도가 매우 미흡한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 발달장애 자녀를 위한 부모의 평생계획 관련 요구를 조사한 결과, 생계보장, 장애인고용, 주택보장 등 경제적인 지원 정책이 보완되어야 하고, 대부분의 부모들이 평생계획 관련 교육을 희망하고 있었으며, 국가의 평생계획 지원 분야에선 평생교육계획과 일상생활기술 분야 등을 요구하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 토대로 발달장애 자녀를 위한 평생계획을 위한 국가와 민간차원의 지원과 구축방안에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the overall status and needs of the parents of a permanency planning for children with developmental disabilities. For this, divided into five areas, education planning, career planning, housing and financial planning, wedding planning, recreation planning, with the permanency planning based on the relevant literature and previous studies had written the survey questions and analyzed the guardian 571 people nationwide survey results with children with developmental disabilities, the main results are as follows: First, the need for recognition of a permanency planning of parents for their children with developmental disabilities to education, jobs, housing and finances, marriage, was very high in all areas, on the other hand, readiness of the real life plan was very unsatisfactory level. Second, the child's disability is more severe and more lower economic conditions of the home, the readiness of the permanency planning was very unsatisfactory. Third, the results of the investigation of the permanency planning-related needs of parents for children with developmental disabilities, livelihood security, disability employment, housing, etc. should be complemented ensure financial support policies. And most of the parents were hoping for life planning education, and they appeared to wish to lifelong learning plan and everyday technology of the country in support areas. Based on the above results, this study discussed the state and private sector support and Establishment of a permanency planning for children with developmental disabilities.
