영문 초록

This paper used a contents analysis method of newspapers to related to water park trend. In this context, this study offered managerial implication of water park ’s supply and demand by indirectly reviewing over the past ten years ’ newspaper articles. Results found that absolute frequency of water park related articles increased since 2000, which show increased interest in water park from public. In similar vein, drawing upon five categories, environment, hardware, software, creativeware, humanware, this study also examined relative frequency of each categories in articles. Articles on environment and hardware showed high frequency at the beginning, while software, creativeware, humanware categories relatively low. Recently more media coverage on creativeware and humanware related articles revealed in newspaper, which not only reflects customer ’s changing selection attribute also suggests new competitive edge for market players. This paper will offers a good understanding and expectation of trend in water park industry.
