영문 초록

  Throughout the ages, people have tried to come up with ideas to enhanc e their beauty. There are many ways to beautify oneself. For example, a person can work on their hairstyle, their wardrobe, their make-up, etc...
  However, for the purposes of this report, we will focus on hairstyles and how it helps to define a persons sens e of individuality. There are many different kinds of hairstyles. One of these is the permanent wave.
  A number of permanent wave hairstyles can be created through the use of certain objects and applications, differing in terms of volume and curl-shape. A person s personality, character, attitude, and even occupation can be determined by looking at the shape of their waves.
  There are important points to be mand about permanent wave hairstyles.
  As in fashion, many categories fall under the term permanent wave.
  For example, hairstyles, clothing, make-up and accessories all belong to the term fashion. Likewise, haircuts, hair-clinics and hair-dyes go hand in hand with permanent waves.
  By looking at the shape of a certain perm, an observer can feel fast, slow, soft, strong, beautiful, tough, smooth, etc...
  There is a correlation between a permanent wave and its shape, the perm s purpose, Expressions of feeling, and the Number of curls. Research was done on all four of these topics in order to achieve the most beautiful hairstyles.
  There were four conclusions that were drawn.
  First, it is important to understand the relationship between a permanent wave and a Lot .
  Second, in the process of designing a certain permanent wave, careful thought and consideration must be taken in researching the relationship between the permanent wave and the shape of a person s head.
  Third, it is important to be precise and exact about the permanent waves volume, direction for it s curl, and the feeling that you get from the design in order to achieve the best results.
  Lastly, through mass media, the designer can get a good understanding of which permanent wave hairstyles are en vogue. Therefore, it is important for hair-designers to closely be in touch with what is happening in the fash ion world.
  In conclusion, it is extremely important for hair designers to understand that, when designing permanent waves, not only is technique important, but also his/her artistic skills. Equally important is that designers have a firm grasp of the notio n of total coordination. These two points cannot be stressed enough.
