초등교육 연구 경험에 대한 두 개의 내러티브

국문 초록

  이 연구는 내러티브 탐구 방법으로 A(캐나다)와 B(한국) 두 연구자의 초등교육 연구 경험에 대한 내러티브를 비교하였다. 그리고 그들의 내러티브에서 드러나는 초등교육학에 대한 이미지 읽기를 목적으로 하였다.
  A와 B의 초등교육 연구 경험에 대한 내러티브는 다음과 같이 나타났다. 첫째, A와 B는 초등교육과 관계 맺으면서 각각 전문성 혹은 정체성의 문제를 당면했고, 연구를 시작하면서, 그들이 경험으로 알게 된 것과 교육학 이론들이 말하는 것 사이의 불일치를 경험하였는데, 이 경험을 ‘늪’으로 내러티브 하였다. 둘째, A와 B의 초등교육 연구 경험에 대한 내러티브는 그들이 알고 있는 것을 논문으로 말하기였다. 그들의 연구는 교직 경험에 대한 숙의의 과정이었고, 경험을 통해서 알게 된 것을 논문으로 말하는 것이었다. 이런 맥락에서 A의 연구 경험에 대한 내러티브는 그림자 그리기(shadowing)로, 그리고 논문을 통해 말하고 싶은 딱 맞는 언어(right words) 찾기로, B의 연구 경험에 대한 내러티브는 스케치하기(sketching)로, 그리고 초등교육 현상을 부를 이름 찾기(naming)로 기술하였다. 결국, A와 B의 초등교육 연구 경험에 대한 내러티브를 통해서 학문으로서 초등교육은 아직은 미지의 분야로 생성적 이미지, 학문의 발생적 원천으로서 현상적 이미지였다.

영문 초록

  This study is a Narrative Inquiry into researchers" experiences of primary education. Though analyzing stories of their research experiences, in other words, through narrative inquiry including the process of story telling and story retelling, I inquired into a image on primary education of each researcher.
  Two participants(A, and B) who have studied or researched in primary education in Canada and Korea was interviewed. The research data were their stories about their research experiences and their books, articles, and other publications.
  Research products are;
  First, A was experienced primary education as a job, she was been teacher as a researcher till now, wanted to have a voice and to find out the right word about her experiences and teaching. B "s experiences was a swamp of identity of herself as a teacher and researcher, has been oriented her own teaching experience, and she wanted to research it more meaningfully, Her research intended to sketching the images and naming itself.
  Second, through A and B"s research experiences, their research was oriented to their teaching experiences in their classroom. Their research focus was naming, finding the right words, making the system as a disciplinary, and their research intend was philosophy about primary education, connection between disciplinary and classroom.
  Thus, the idea of primary education as a disciplinary was creating new imagination and conceptualization of this field as a virgin area. And second was a image of lived field.
