국어교육 현장연구의 대상과 범주

국문 초록

  이 글에서는 국어교육이 나아갈 방향에 대해 교육현장의 관점에서 점검하고, 그 내용 영역과 대상 자료를 범주화해서 구체적인 논의의 발판을 마련해 보고자 한다.
  현장에서는 지식을 습득하고 생산하는 기능보다 이해하고 표현하며, 나아가 자율적인 체험 학습을 통해 과잉 생산된 주변의 지식과 정보를 소비하는 학습활동을 요구한다. 따라서 현행 국어교육의 내용 영역은 이해ㆍ표현ㆍ체험의 삼원 체계로 다루는 것이 바람직하다. 또한 이원화된 예술언어와 일상언어를 하나로 묶어서 국어과 교육 내용과 대상 자료를 범주화할 필요가 있다. 일상적 언어생활에서 예술언어를 이해하고, 표현하고, 체험할 수 있게 하면 국어교육의 내용이 보다 풍부하고 다채롭게 된다. 여기서 삶과 앎의 두 영역을 하나로 묶어 통합하여 가르치자고 하는 제안은 구체적으로 ‘노래ㆍ이야기ㆍ놀이’ 자료를 현장 국어교육에 적극 활용하자는 것이다.

영문 초록

  This paper is to examine the course of korean language education from an standpoint of field education, and to suggest thereby that a stepping-stone of a concrete discussion.
  In field education, prevailing educational systems, more exactly, the skill of comprehension and expression are more important than to improving the storage skills of knowledge, by the same token, it is required that must be comsumed by overproduced informations and superficial knowledge through self-controled learning, as it were, ‘lived experience’. Therefore, the language education domain, as it stands, is required to handle as the three primary system, i.e., comprehension, expression and lived experience. In addition, the contents of language education is divided into two parts: ordinary language and literary language, and there is the larger problem of merging into the language domains. The two language domains of korean language education must merge into one as the object materials in field education. It is quite clear that comprehending, expressing and experiencing literary ideas and knowledge in the language activities of daily living are intimately linked with a language education of rich contents.
