地籍學 側面에서 본 白頭山定界碑의 役割 硏究

국문 초록

  본 연구의 목적은 백두산정계비에 대한 역할을 지적학 측면에서 접근하여 그 가치를 재평가하는 것이다. 이상과 같은 연구목적을 효율적으로 달성하기 위해 공간적 범위는 백두산을 둘러싼 지역으로 한정하여, 백두산정계비에 대한 이론적 고찰을 실시하고, 백두산정계비에 대한 실태 분석을 통하여 백두산정계비의 역할을 제시하고자 한다. 이상의 연구범위에 대한 조사는 문헌조사법과 인터넷조사법을 병행하였다.
  연구 결과, 백두산정계비는 단순히 국경을 나타내는 비석이 아니라, 지적학 측면에서 국경에 대한 합의사항을 등록·공시한 지적공부로 간주할 수 있다. 따라서 백두산정계비의 역할은 첫째, 인위적으로 설치한 국경선 둘째, 국가간의 경계를 획정한 경계점표지 셋째, 구두합의에 의한 국제조약 내용을 기록한 지적도면의 역할을 한 것으로 분석되었다.

영문 초록

  The objectives of this study are to set up research objective to revaluate Baekdusan National Boundary Monument in terms of cadastre. In order to achieve research objectives, the spatial limitation was defined to area surrounding Mt. Baekdu. A literature review was carried out on the Baekdusan National Boundary Monument. Through the analysis the actual condition, the role of Baekdusan National Boundary Monument was presented. A literature review and internet search method were mainly applied.
  The Baekdusan monument purposed not only to show the national boundary but also to play the role of cadastral records which registered and publicly noticed international agreements on the national boundary according to the findings of this research. Therefore, the roles of the monument were, firstly, an artificially established national boundary, secondly, a boundary mark between the nations concerned and lastly a cadastral map which registered the content of the international treaty by an oral agreement.
