국문 초록

이 글은 초등학교 통합교육에서 장애아동의 인권에 관한 문헌연구이다. 인간의 존엄성과 가치가 온전하게 인정받는 것으로 인권의 의미를 정의할 때 과연 통합교육현장이 장애아동의 인권을 보장해 줄 수 있는 상태인가에 물음을 제기하였다. 장애아동에 대한 집단 따돌림, 차별, 교육적 방임, 체벌, 과잉보호를 학교에서 인권침해 차원으로 논의하였으며, 왜 통합교육현장에서 장애아동의 인권문제가 발생하는지 알아보았다. 장애인등 나와 다른 타인에 대한 장애이해교육이 선행되지 않으면 따돌림이나 차별적인 태도가 바뀌어질 수 없으며, 장애아동에 대한 교수자료나 교수설비, 교육과정의 부재는 일반학급에서 교육적으로 방임되거나 과잉보호 될 수 밖에 없다. 따라서 인권이 보장되는 성공적 통합교육을 위해서는 통합교육에 대한 전면적인 제고가 필요하다.

영문 초록

This article is about Human rights of children with disability in Inclusive Elementary school. According as Human rights and the dignity of human are defined as being protected and preserved, Corporal punishment, educational abuse, discrimination, overprotection and alienation to peers are discussed in the view of human rights of children. I wonder if inclusive elementary school will guarantee handicapped children's rights, so I investigate why handicapped children's rights can not but be infringed. There are three factors that can infringe handicapped children's right. However these infringement factors of human rights aren't blame of only teacher that is related to problem of inclusion in elementary school. First. negative atmosphere to handicapped children cause alienation or discrimination to them. Human rights education is to accept the dignity and diversity of human, most of all, it is important to think that handicapped children is the same and equal and have no prejudice to them. Second, the lack of instructional material and curriculum cause handicapped children to be overprotected and be abused in educational effect. Third, owing to big class size, children with disability is easy to abuse in not only school life but also educational effect. To ensure the human rights of children with disability in inclusive elementary school, both regular education and special education must be considered and changed.
