청년직장인의 여가 활동 경험에 관한현상학적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 청년직장인의 여가활동 경험에 대해 알아보고 그 경험의 의미와 본질을이해하는 데 그 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 본 연구에 적합한 19세~34세 이하의 연령대로 3개월 이상 지속하고 있는 여가 활동이 있는 청년직장인을 선정하였으며, 연구 참여자와의 심층면담을 통해 얻어진 자료를 활용하였다. 연구 결과는 첫째, 청년직장인에게 여가 활동은 ‘일이 없어 남는 시간에 하는 활동’이라는 개념을 넘어서 필수적이고 중요한 활동이며, 여가 활동을 자신의 삶에서 매우 중요한 부분으로 인식한다. 둘째, 자신의 몸과 마음의 건강을 돌보기 위해 여가 활동을 지속하고 있다. 셋째, 직장인이 된 후 경제적으로 안정되어 경험할 수 있는 여가의 폭이넓어지고 비용이 드는 여가 활동도 자유롭게 선택할 수 있게 되었다. 넷째, 여가활동을 하며 나에게 집중할 수 있고, 그 순간 꾸며지지 않은 내 모습을 볼 수 있어 행복감을 느낀다. 다섯째, 내가 좋아하는 활동을 통해 성장할 수 있고, 여가 활동을 하는 순간뿐만 아니라 기다리는 시간도 행복하고 찌들어 있는 삶 속에서 벗어나 활동 자체만으로도 즐겁고 일상을 살아갈 수 있는 원동력이 된다. 여섯째, 여가 활동을 통해 앞으로도 다양한 경험을 하며 성장하고 싶어 한다. 일곱째, 경험을나누며 생각보다 여가를 자신의 삶에서 매우 중요하게 여기고 있으며, 자신의 삶에 여가가 어떤 의미인지 생각해 볼 수 있는 기회가 되었고, 삶에서 중요한 가치관을 정리해 보고, 가치관에 따라 앞으로의 여가도 계획할 수 있는 계기가 되었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과에 비추어 볼 때, 본 연구는 청년직장인들의 여가 활동 경험에 대해 심층적으로 이해해봄으로써 청년직장인의 여가 활동에 필요한 실질적 요인들을 탐색해 볼 수 있는 계기가 되었으며, 청년직장인을 삶의 질을 높일 수 있는 여가 활동 프로그램을 개발하는데 기초 자료로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to find out about the leisure activity experiences of young office workers and to understand the meaning and nature of the experiences. To this end, young office workers with leisure activities that have lasted for more than 3 months in the age group of 19-34 suitable for this study were selected, and the data obtained through in-depth interviews with the study participants were used. The research results derived through this process are, first, leisure activities are essential and important for young office workers beyond the concept of 'activity in spare time because there is no work', and leisure activities are recognized as a very important part of their lives. Second, they continue to engage in leisure activities to take care of the health of their body and mind. Third, after becoming an office worker, the range of leisure activities that can be experienced economically stable has expanded, and leisure activities that cost money can be freely selected. Fourth, I feel happy to be able to focus on myself while doing leisure activities, and to see myself unfinished at that moment. Fifth, I can grow through my favorite activities, and the moment I do leisure activities, as well as the waiting time, become a driving force for me to live a pleasant daily life, free from the happy and painful life. Sixth, I want to continue to grow through various experiences through leisure activities. Seventh, it was an opportunity to share experiences and think about what leisure means in my life, and it was an opportunity to organize important values in life and plan future leisure according to the values. In light of the results of these studies, this study provided an opportunity to explore practical factors necessary for leisure activities of young office workers by understanding the leisure activities experiences of young office workers in depth, and could be used as basic data for developing leisure activities programs that can improve the quality of life for young office workers.
