국문 초록

이 연구는 야구동호인을 대상으로 여가 제약이 지속적 참여 의도에 미치는 영향을분석하고, 이 관계에서 여가 제약 협상이 조절변수로 작용하는지를 실증적으로 검토하였다. 이를 통해 야구와 같이 구조적·대인적 제약이 많은 생활체육 종목에서여가 참여의 지속성을 높일 수 있는 실천적 방향을 탐색하고자 하였다. 연구는 서울 및 수도권에 거주하는 야구동호인을 모집단으로 설정하고, 성별 분포를 고려한할당 표집(quota sampling)과 전국대회 참가 경험 여부를 반영한 목적 표집(purposive sampling)을 병행하여 데이터를 수집하였다. 최종적으로 확보된 407부의 유효 설문지를 바탕으로 SPSS 29.0, AMOS 29.0, PROCESS Macro Model 1을 활용하여 기술통계분석, 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관관계 분석, 조절 효과 검증을 위한 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 여가 제약은 지속적 참여 의도에 부정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 여가 제약 협상은 지속적 참여 의도에 긍정적인 영향을미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 여가 제약 협상은 여가 제약과 지속적 참여 의도간의 관계를 유의미하게 조절하는 것으로 확인되었으며, 협상 수준이 높을수록 여가 제약의 부정적 영향이 완화되는 경향을 보였다. 이러한 결과는 여가 제약 협상이 단순한 보완 수단을 넘어, 여가 활동의 지속성을 결정짓는 주요 심리적 기제로기능함을 시사한다. 이 연구는 야구동호인의 여가 참여 지속을 설명하는 사회심리적 메커니즘을 구조적으로 규명하였으며, 생활체육 참여자들의 협상 역량 강화를위한 정책적·교육적 지원의 필요성을 제시한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study examined the effect of leisure constraints on the intention for continuous participation among amateur baseball club members and empirically analyzed the moderating role of leisure constraints negotiation. The participants consisted of 407 amateur baseball players residing in Seoul and the metropolitan area. Data were collected using quota sampling(based on gender) and purposive sampling(based on national competition experience). The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 29.0, AMOS 29.0, and PROCESS Macro Model 1, applying descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis for moderation testing. Results showed that leisure constraints had a negative effect on the intention for continuous participation, while leisure constraints negotiation had a positive effect. Moreover, leisure constraints negotiation significantly moderated this relationship, such that higher negotiation levels weakened the negative influence of constraints. These findings suggest that leisure constraints negotiation functions as a key psychological mechanism supporting sustained leisure participation. This study contributes to understanding the structural mechanisms behind continued engagement in community sports and highlights the importance of enhancing negotiation capabilities to promote long-term participation.
