국문 초록

목적: 본 연구는 초등학교 적응 프로그램이 발달장애 아동의 작업 수행 능력, 소동작 기술, 사회적 상호작용기술에 미치는 효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 만 8세의 발달장애 아동 4명을 대상으로 단일 집단 사전-사후 설계를 적용하였으며, 총 13회기에 걸쳐 초등학교 적응 프로그램을 실시하였다. 작업 수행 능력은 Canadian Occupational Performance Measure(COPM)을 활용해 주 보호자와의 반구조화된 면담을 통해 평가하였고, 소동작 기술은 Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency, Second Edition(BOT-2)의 미세 운동 정확성(fine motor precision), 미세운동 통합(fine motor integration), 손 기민성(manual dexterity)의 세 하위 항목을 사용하여 측정하였다. 사회적 상호작용 기술은 일화기록을 기반으로 조작적 정의에 따라 행동 키워드를 중심으로 점수화하였으며, Python 3.11.12 버전을 활용해 시각적으로 분석하였다. 결과: 모든 대상자는 중재 이후 COPM의 수행도와 만족도에서 2점 이상 향상을 보였으며, BOT-2의 세하위 항목과 등가연령 점수에서도 향상되었다. 사회적 상호작용 기술에서는 자기표현, 협력, 자기조절영역에서 긍정적인 행동 변화가 관찰되었다. 결론: 본 연구는 초등학교 입학 초기 발달장애 아동에게 구조화된 학교 적응 지원 프로그램이 작업 수행, 소동작 기술, 사회적 상호작용 기술 향상에 효과적임을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

Objective: This study investigated the effects of a structured elementary school adaptation program on the occupational performance, fine motor proficiency, and social interactions of children with developmental disabilities. Methods: Four 8-year-old children with developmental disabilities participated in this study, which featured a one-group, pretest-posttest design. The intervention consisted of 13 sessions. Occupational performance was evaluated through semi-structured interviews with primary caregivers using the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM). Fine motor skills were assessed using three subtestsfrom the Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency, Second Edition (BOT-2): Fine Motor Precision, Fine Motor Integration, and Manual Dexterity. Social interaction skills were scored based on predefined behavioral indicators from anecdotal records and analyzed using Python 3.11.12. Results: All participants showed clinically significant improvements (≥ 2 points) in both performance and satisfaction scores on the COPM scale. Moreover, BOT-2 subtest and age-equivalent scores also improved. Positive changes were noted in social interaction domains, including assertion, cooperation, and self-regulation. Conclusion: The program effectively supported school adjustment by enhancing the functional performance and social behaviors of children with developmental disabilities. These findings emphasize the importance of ecologically grounded interventions within school contexts and suggest the need for further studies with broader populations and extended outcome domains.
