국문 초록

이 연구는 스포츠활동 참여하지 않는 초등학생의 부정정서와 스마트폰의존성 및 사회적효능감 간의 관계를 실증적으로 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 I시의 초등학생 중 최소 6개월 이상 스포츠활동에 참여하지 않은 5, 6학생 총 389명을 대상으로 연구를 수행하였다. 자료분석은 기술통계와 탐색적요인분석, 신뢰도를 측정한 후, 추출된 변수 간의 상관분석를 하고, 변수 간의 영향 관계를 알아보기 위해 3단계의 위계적인 매개회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부정정서(불안, 흥분, 걱정), 스마트폰의존성(습관성, 강박성), 사회적효능감(주도력, 협조력) 변수 간에는 통계적으로 유의한 상관성이 있다. 둘째, 부정정서와 스마트폰의존성이 사회적효능감에 미치는 영향에서 부정정서와 스마트폰의존성은 두 변수는 통계적인 유의성 유무와 상관없이 사회적효능감에 음(-)적으로 영향을 미치고 있다. 셋째, 스마트폰의존성이 부정정서와 사회적효능감의 관계에서 매개효과가 있는지 확인 한 결과, 불안과 사회적효능감(주도력, 협조력)의 관계에서 스마트폰의존성(습관성, 강박성)은 매개효과가 없다. 흥분과 사회적효능감(주도력, 협조력)의 관계에서 스마트폰의존성(습관성, 강박성)은 모두 매개효과가 있다. 걱정과 사회적효능감(주도력, 협조력)의 관계에서 스마트폰의존성(습관성, 강박성)은 부분적으로 매개효과가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to empirically investigate the relationship between negative emotions, smartphone dependence, and social efficacy in elementary school students who do not participate in sports activities. To achieve this, a total of 389 students from grades 5 and 6 in City I who had not participated in sports activities for at least 6 months were surveyed. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, and reliability measurement, correlation analysis between extracted variables, and a three-step hierarchical mediation regression analysis to determine the relationships between variables. The conclusions is as follows. Firstly, there is a statistically significant correlation between negative emotions(anxiety, excitement, worry), smartphone dependence(habituation, obsession), and social efficacy(leadership, cooperation). Secondly, regarding the impact of negative emotions(and smartphone dependence on social efficacy, both negative emotions and smartphone dependence negatively affect social efficacy regardless of statistical significance. Thirdly, examining whether smartphone dependence mediates the relationship between negative emotions and social efficacy, it was found that smartphone dependence does not mediate the relationship between anxiety and social efficacy. However, it does mediate the relationship between excitement and social efficacy, and partially mediates the relationship between worry and social efficacy.
