정서행동장애아동부모의 의미치료기반 부모훈련프로그램 사례 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 정서행동장애아동을 양육하는 부모에게 빅터프랭클의 의미치료를 기반한 부모훈련을 통해 아동에게 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있도록 설계하여 접근하였다. 연구의 참여자는 총 5명 이었다. 본 연구의 준비를 위한 프로그램 개발 및 관련 검토는 2023년 8월부터 진행되었으며, 의미치료에 대한 기초적인 학습과 연구의 의도에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 연구 참여자 모집 및 선정은 2024년 6월까지 진행하였다. 본격적인 연구는 2024년 7월부터 2024년 10월 말까지 총 8회기에 걸쳐 치료 및 상담을 통해 실시되었다. 연구의 대상자는 정서행동장애아동의 통합교육을 위해 꾸준한 공동체 활동을 하는 부모를 연구의 참여자로 선정하였다. 연구의 활동을 통해, 삶의 의미와 창조적 가치, 경험적 가치, 태도적 가치, 선택의 자유와 책임을 통한 삶의 의미를 도출하였으며, 정서행동장애아동의 부모에게 삶의 의미는 자녀 그 자체였다. 의미치료를 기반으로 한 부모훈련을 통해 긍정적인 삶을 살 수 있도록 부모의 마음 회복에 주목하여, Frankl의 삶의 의미를 기반으로 한 실천적인 방법과 부모훈련의 지속적인 효과를 위한 방법을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 다소 적은 인원과 지역적 한계, 아동마다 다른 개인의 차이로 인한 객관화에는 한계가 있으나 정서장애아동의 부모에 대한 관심과 아동에 대한 다양한 교육체계와 치료지원 등의 자녀교육과 이에 필요한 네트워크 연결이 필요하며, 정서장애아동의 특성에 대한 사회적 이해와 이를 양육하는 부모에 대한 공감과 이에 따른 실천적, 정책적 실천 방향이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study was designed to provide parent training based on Viktor Frankl's logotherapy to parents raising children with emotional and behavioral disorders so that they can have a positive influence on their children. A total of five participants participated in the study. Program development and related reviews for preparation for the study were conducted from August 2023, and recruitment and selection of subjects based on basic learning about logotherapy and understanding of the study's intent were conducted until June 2024. The full-scale research was conducted over a total of eight sessions of treatment and counseling from July 2024 to the end of October 2024. Through research activities, the meaning of life and creative value, experiential value, attitudinal value, freedom of choice and responsibility were derived, and for parents of children with emotional and behavioral disorders, the meaning of life was the child itself. Based on logotherapy, parent training focuses on the recovery of parents' minds so that they can live positive lives, and practical methods based on Frankl's meaning of life and methods for the continuous effectiveness of parent training are presented. This study has limitations in objectivity due to the small number of participants, regional limitations, and individual differences between children. However, it suggests that parents of children with emotional disorders need to have interest in the children, various educational systems, and child education such as treatment support, and that there is a need for network connections. In addition, there is a need for social understanding of the characteristics of children with emotional disorders, empathy for parents who raise them, and practical and policy implementation directions based on this.
