아동양육시설 후원부모의 자녀결연 경험에 관한 내러티브 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 아동양육시설 후원부모의 자녀결연 경험을 탐구함으로써 자녀결연 경험의 의미를 심도 깊게 성찰해 보는 것이다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 아동양육시설 원장의 추천으로 10년 이상 자녀결연 경험이 있는 부모 1명을 대상으로 심층면접을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 내러티브 탐구방법을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과 결연 전 경험에서는 ‘엄마따라 시작한 보육원 봉사’, ‘친구를 잃은 상실 트라우마’; 결연부모 되기에서는 ‘실패로 돌아간 첫 결연’, ‘마음을 열고 재시도’, ‘결연 부모역할 터득하기’; 결연가정으로 살아가기에서는 ‘딸 시집 보내는 친정엄마 마음’, ‘긍정적인 부모 모델링’, ‘자녀와 연결하기’에서 ‘놓아주기’를 도출하였다. 위 연구결과를 토대로 결연가정을 위한 정책적, 실천적 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to explore the child-matching experiences and correlated implications for sponsoring parents in child care facilities. In order to achieve this research purpose, data were collected through in-depth interviews with one parent who had more than ten years of experiences in child-matching, at the recommendation of the director of a child care facility. The collected data were analyzed using narrative inquiry methods. The research showed that the experiences before the sponsorship were 'volunteer work at a daycare center following my mother' and 'the trauma of losing a friend'; and for those becoming a sponsor parent, they were 'the first match was a failure', 'open your heart and try again', and 'mastering the role of a sponsoring parent'. Living as a sponsoring family was derived from 'a mother's feelings about marrying off her daughter', 'positive parent modeling', and 'letting go of connecting with your children'. Based on the research results, policy and practical recommendations are presented.
