유아문학 관련 논문의 연구동향 분석 -「유아교육관련학회 학술지」와「어린이문학전문 학술지」-

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아문학 관련 논문의 연구 동향을 분석하여 유아문학 연구의 수준 향상에 필요한 자료를 제공하기 위해 『유아교육연구』,『아동학회지』,『열린유아교육연구』,『미래유아교육학회지』,『유아교육학논집』와 『어린이문학교육연구』에 게재된 242편의 유아문학 관련 논문을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 1996년부터 1999년까지 작성된 유아문학 관련 논문은 12편에 불과한데 비해 2000년을 기점으로 2008년까지 게재된 논문은 230편으로 늘어나 약 20배 정도의 괄목할만한 증가를 보이고 있다. 연구유형은 『유아교육의 5개 학술지』의 경우 "양적연구"에만 치우치고 있으나, 『어린이문학교육연구』에서는 "양적연구"와 "문헌연구"가 서로 비슷한 비율을 보이고 있었다. 이러한 문헌연구의 등장은 그림책을 단지 교육 매개체로 활용하여 그 효과를 검증하는 양적연구에서 벗어나, 유아문학의 원론적인 문학성과 예술성을 분석하려는 의도라 할 수 있다. 전체적으로 유아문학 관련 연구에서 사용한 도구는 그림책(2041편)이었다. 구체적으로 "교육내용으로 활용"과 연관된 논문에서는 문학성에 대해 가장 많이 연구하였고, "교수활동으로 활용"과 연관된 논문에서는 그림책을 읽고 문학관련 활동을 경험한 후에 유아들의 언어발달(62편), 창의성발달(20편), 사회성발달(15편) 등의 효과 여부를 검증한 연구가 주를 이루었다. 『유아교육의 5개 학술지』에서는 "실험법"과 "차이분석"을 많이 사용하였고, 『어린이문학교육연구』에서는 "문헌연구"와 "문헌분석이나 기술통계"를 많이 사용하였다. 그림책의 장르는 환상동화가 949편(46.5%)으로 가장 많았다. 결론적으로 양적 성장과 함께 다양한 연구주제와 관점으로 유아문학의 연구방법에 대한 심도 깊은 이해의 필요성과 유아교육에서 유아문학의 공헌에 대해 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The subject of this study were 242 pieces of Early Childhood Education qualitative studies published by『Korean Journal of Early Childhood Education』, 『Journal of Child Studies』, 『The Journal of Korea Open Association for Early Childhood Education』, 『Journal of Future Early Childhood Education』, 『Early Childhood Education Research & Review』, and 『Korea Society of Children's Literature & Education』. The results of this study are as follows: The number of thesis on young children's literature between 1996 and 1999 is 12, the number between 2000 and 2008 is 230 and the increase is noticeable with 20 times. The type of study in 5 journals of early childhood education leans on quantity research, but the study in young children's literature is quantity research and books, so the number of book research is remarkable with other journals compared. The instrument of studies of young children's literature was picture books, whose number was 2041. In details the study of literacy in case of using the picture books as a text was the most and the studies for language development(62), creative development(20), and social development(15) appeared strongly when it was used as activities. In 5 journal of early childhood education, experiments and difference analysis were methods of study, and books research and book analysis or statistics in the children literatures. In conclusion the study of children's literature, the journal of young children literature published in 2000 has become an stimulating tool to develop and expand the research of young children' literature.
