다문화가정 유아의 또래관계에 어머니의 양육불안과 아버지의 양육참여가 미치는 영향 : 모-자녀 관계와 유아 놀이성의 직렬다중매개효과

국문 초록

최근 증가하고 있는 다문화가정 유아들이 우리 사회의 건강한 일원으로 성장해 나가도록 지원하기 위해서는 사회성 발달에 큰 영향을 미치는 또래관계에 영향을 미치는 요인들과 요인들 간의 영향관계를 구체적으로 파악할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 다문화가정 부모의 양육특성과 유아특성이 유아의 또래관계에 미치는 직접적인 영향과 모-자녀 관계, 유아의 놀이성이 부모의 양육특성과 유아의 또래관계 사이에서 미치는 매개적 영향에 대해 C도와 J도의 유아교육기관에 재원 중인 다문화가정 3~5세 유아와 부모 209쌍을 대상으로 살펴보았다. 그 결과 다문화가정 어머니의 양육불안, 아버지의 양육참여는 유아의 또래관계에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않았으며, 모-자녀 관계와 유아의 놀이성의 이중매개를 통해서만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 그동안 다문화가정 유아의 또래관계에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 주로 어머니의 양육불안, 아버지 양육참여와 같은 부모 요인이 제시되었던 결과와 차이를 보였다.

영문 초록

To support infants from multicultural families to grow into healthy members of our society, it is necessary to understand in more detail the factors affecting peer relationships that have an influence on social development. In this study, 209 pairs of multicultural families with children aged 3-5 years and parents enrolled in early childhood education institutions were examined for the direct effect of parenting characteristics and infant characteristics on infant peer relationships. The results show that parenting anxiety of mothers from multicultural families and participation of the fathers’ in parenting did not directly affect the children’s peer relationship, and only double mediation of the mother-child relationship and the children’s playfulness had an effect. This result is different from studies in which parent factors such as mothers’ parenting anxiety and fathers’ parenting participation have been mainly suggested as factors affecting the peer relationship of infants from multicultural families.
