국문 초록

본 연구는 유아와 함께하는 마을교육공동체의 실천을 위한 협력적 실행과정과 이에 따른 연구참여자들의 인식 변화를 알아보는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 연구자는 G시 J유치원 을 연구 현장으로 섭외하여 2022년 9월부터 2023년 4월까지 협력적 실행연구를 수행하였 으며, 연구참여자는 2022학년도 L반 교사 C와 유아 16명, 2023학년도 L반 교사 H와 유아 15명, 마을구성원 6명, 연구자 1명이다. 연구절차는 Kemmis와 McTaggart(1988)가 제시 한 ‘계획-실행-관찰-반성’의 단계로, 이를 1차~3차에 걸쳐 실행하였다. 자료수집은 참여관 찰과 면담, 저널, 사진 및 영상자료를 통해 이루어졌으며, 반복적 읽기를 통해 의미 있는 발 문과 상황을 범주화하여 결과를 도출하였다. 유아와 함께하는 마을교육공동체의 실천과정 은 ‘마을과 마주하다’, ‘마을에서 소통하다’, ‘마을로 연결되다’로, 이에 따른 연구참여자들 의 인식 변화는 ‘자신감과 적극성을 갖게 된 유아’, ‘협력적 교육과정 전문성과 주체성이 향 상된 교사’, ‘열린 마음으로 변화된 마을구성원’, ‘협력적 실천이라는 걸음을 뗀 연구자’로 분류되었다. 본 연구는 연구참여자들이 마을교육공동체를 통해 연대의 가치를 깨닫게 되었 다는 점과 유아가 협력적 행위 주체성을 갖고 발현적 교육과정의 주체가 될 수 있음을 시사 하고 있다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the collaborative action process for the practice of the village education community with young children and to find out the changes in the perception of research participants accordingly. To this end, the researcher selected J Kindergarten in G City as a research site and conducted a collaborative action research for about 8 months from September 2022 to April 2023. The research participants who participated in the practice process of the village education community were Class L teacher C and 16 children in 2022, Class L teacher H and 15 children in 2023, 6 village members, and 1 researcher. The research procedure consisted of the stages of “Plan-Act-Observe-Reflect” an implementation research model proposed by Kemmis and McTaggart(1988), and this process was carried out over the first to third rounds. Data collection was conducted through participatory observation and interviews, journals, photographs and video materials, and through repetitive reading, meaningful questions and situations were categorized to derive results. The implementation process of the village education community with young children was classified “facing the village,” “communicating in the village,” and “connecting to the village” and the change in perception of the study participants was classified into “young children with confidence and activeness”, “teacher with improved cooperative curriculum professionalism and subjectivity”, “village members changed with an open mind” and “researcher who took the step of collaborative practice”. This study is significant in that the research participants realized the value of solidarity through the village education community and suggested that children can have a cooperative identity and become subjects of an emergent curriculum.
