국문 초록

본 연구는 영아교사를 대상으로 교수효능감의 전반적 경향과 개인 및 기관 변인에 따른 차 이를 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 수도권에 근무하고 있는 영아교사 213명을 대상으 로 김민경 외(2023)의 ‘영아교사용 교수효능감 척도’를 사용하여 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집한 자료의 분석은 평균 및 표준편차, 왜도, 첨도를 산출하고, t검정과 일원 배치분산분석을 실시하였으며, 유의한 차이가 있는 경우에는 사후검증(Scheffé)을 실시하 였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영아교사의 교수효능감은 전반적으로 높은 수 준으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교사의 개인 변인인 연령, 경력, 영아반 경력에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었고, 학력, 전공에 따른 차이는 없었다. 또한 기관 변인인 담당 학급 연령에 따라 영아교 사 교수효능감의 일부 하위요인에서 유의한 차이가 나타났고, 기관 유형, 급여에 따른 차이 는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 영아교사 교수효능감의 전반적 경향을 이해할 수 있도록 하며, 이를 지원하기 위한 다양한 방안을 모색할 필요가 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the overall trend of teaching efficacy among infant/toddler teachers and the differences according to individual and institutional variables. For this purpose, 213 infant/toddler teachers working in the Seoul metropolitan area were selected, and the “Teaching Efficacy Scale for Infant/Toddler Teachers’ by Kim, Lee, and Lee(2023) was used as the research tool. To analyze the collected data, means and standard deviations, skewness, and kurtosis were calculated, and t-tests and one-way analysis of variance(ANOVAs) were conducted, and Scheffé was performed if there was a significant difference. The results of this study are as follows. First, the teaching efficacy of infant/toddler teachers was found to be high overall. Second, there were significant differences according to the teacher’s personal variables such as age, career, and infant/toddler class experience, and there were no differences according to academic background and major. In addition, in terms of institutional variables, there was a significant difference in a sub-factor of infant/toddler teachers’ teaching efficacy according to the age of the class in charge, and there were no differences according to the type of institution and salary. These results provide an understanding of the overall trend of infant/ toddler teachers’ teaching efficacy, and suggest that it is necessary to seek various ways to support them.
