보육교사의 놀이신념 및 전문성이 놀이교수효능감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 놀이신념과 전문성이 놀이교수효능감에 미치는 영향에서 직무만족의 매개역할을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경기 P시와 충남 S시에 근무하는 영유아 교사를 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였으며, 본 연구를 위해 설문자료는 235부가 수집되었으며 SPSS 26.0을 사용하였으며 연구변인들의 평균, 표준편차, 상관관계, 영향, 매개효과를 알아보기 위해 기술통계 분석, 상관분석, 다중 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 놀이신념 및 전문성이 놀이교수효능감에 미치는 영향에서 직무만족의 매개효과를 살펴보기 위해 Baron과 Kenny(1986)가 제안한 3단계 회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 매개효과의 통계적 유의성을 검증하기 위해 Sobel test를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 놀이신념, 전문성, 직무만족 및 놀이교수효능감의 모두 평균이 중간이상의 높은 수준을 보였다. 둘째, 놀이신념, 전문성, 직무만족, 놀이교수효능감의 변인들은 변인 간 정적인 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 놀이신념과 전문성이 유아의 놀이교수효능감에 미치는 영향에서 직무만족의 매개효과 검증에서 놀이신념과 전문성 모두 놀이교수효능감에 직접적으로 영향을 미치기도 하고 직무만족을 매개로 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상에서 살펴 본 바와 같이 놀이신념, 전문성, 직무만족은 놀이교수효능감을 높이는 데 중요한 역할을 하며 특히 직무만족이 매개되었을 때, 놀이교수효능감의 향상됨을 검증하였다. 이에 놀이신념과 전문성을 효과적으로 발휘하도록 할 때 직무만족를 높일 수 있고 직무만족은 결과적으로 놀이교수효능감을 높이게 됨을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to examine the mediating role of job satisfaction in the effect of play beliefs and teacher professionalism on play teaching efficacy. To this end, a survey was conducted on childcare teachers working in P-si and S-si, Chungcheongnam-do. For this study, 235 copies of the survey data were collected, and SPSS 26.0 was used, and descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted to find the mean, standard deviation, correlation, impact, and mediating effect of the study variables. A three-step regression analysis proposed by Baron and Kenny (1986) was conducted to examine the mediating effect of job satisfaction in the effect of play beliefs and professionalism on play teaching efficacy, The Sobel test was conducted to verify the statistical significance of the mediating effect. The results are as follows. First, the average of play beliefs, professionalism, job satisfaction, and play teaching efficacy all showed a high level above the middle. Second, the variables of play belief, professionalism, job satisfaction, and play teaching efficacy had a positive correlation between variables. Third, in verifying the mediating effect of job satisfaction on the effect of play beliefs and professionalism on play teaching efficacy, both play beliefs and expertise had a direct effect on the efficacy of play teaching and an indirect effect through job satisfaction. Fourth, play beliefs, professionalism, and job satisfaction played an important role in enhancing the efficacy of play teaching, especially when job satisfaction is mediated. Accordingly, the study suggests that job satisfaction can be improved when effectively demonstrating play beliefs and professionalism, and job satisfaction consequently increases play teaching efficacy.
