교육대학원에 재학 중인 예비교사가 인식하는 좋은 수업에 대한 중요도와 실행도 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 교육대학원에서의 좋은 수업이 실현되기 위한 핵심적인 요소를 탐색하고 수업의 질을 높이는 데 도움을 주는 방안 도출을 하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 교육대학원에 재학 중인 예비교사의 인식을 바탕으로, 좋은 수업에 대한 중요도와 실제 수업에서의 실행도를 비교․분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 수도권 소재 4개 대학의 교육대학원에 재학 중인 예비교사 182명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 또한, IPA 분석 기법으로, 교육대학원에서의 좋은 수업을 위한 실천 전략을 추출하였다. 본 연구를 통해, ‘철학적 성격’이 교육대학원에서의 좋은 수업을 위한 가장 핵심적인 영역임을 밝힐 수 있었다. 또한, 교육대학원에 재학 중인 예비교사들은 ‘수업방향’, ‘수업운영’, ‘교수방법’, ‘교수자 태도 및 성향’ 등을 중요하게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과에 대한 논의와 IPA 분석결과를 바탕으로, 교육대학원 차원에서 좋은 수업을 실행하기 위한 지원해야 할 점을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육대학원에서는 개설 강좌에 대한 ‘철학적 성격’을 보다 명확하게 설정할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 예비교사 중심의 ‘수업방향’을 구체적으로 계획하고 실행할 필요가 있다. 특히, 교수자는 자기주도학습 유도, 주의집중, 사고 및 의견 공유, 이론과 현장 결합 등에 기반한 수업을 계획하고 실현할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 교수자의 교수방법 다양화를 지원하기 위한 체계적인 도움이 요구된다. 상기의 내용을 바탕으로, 본 연구에서는 교육대학원에서의 좋은 수업을 실현하기 위한 효과적이고 현실적인 발전 방향을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the key elements for the realization of good teaching in Graduate School of Education and to find ways to help improve the quality of instruction. This study was to compare the importance of good instruction in teaching lectures and practice in actual classes based on the recognition of pre-service teachers attending graduate school of education. In this study, data were collected from 182 preservice teachers attending graduate schools of education in four universities in the Seoul metropolitan area. In addition, the IPA analysis technique was used to derive practical strategies for the realization of good classes at the Graduate School of Education. Through this study, we could find out that ‘philosophical personality’ is the most important area for good instruction at the graduate school of education. In addition, preservice teachers attending the Graduate School of Education were found to recognize the importance of ‘direction of instruction’, ‘lesson management’, ‘instruction method’, and ‘teacher attitude and tendency’. Based on the results of this study and the results of the IPA analysis, the following points should be given to support the implementation of good instruction at the graduate level of education. First, it is necessary to clarify the ‘philosophical personality’ of the courses opened in the Graduate School of Education. Second, it is necessary to plan and implement the “direction of instruction” centered on preliminary teachers. In particular, teachers should plan classes based on self-directed learning, attention, sharing of thoughts and opinions, theory and field combination, and realization in the classroom. Third, systematic support is needed to diversify instruction methods of professors. Based on the results of this study, this study discussed the direction of effective and realistic development to carry out good instruction at the Graduate School of Education.
