국문 초록

우리는 미디어와 저널 등 각종 매체를 통해 세계의 환경문제와 환경으로부터 오는 총체적 위기 상황들에 대해 전달받고 있다. 그러나 아무리 심각한 문제라도 그것에 익숙해지면 반응이 무뎌지듯이 우리는 자연 파괴의 심각성과 그것이 우리 인간사회에 주는 무서운 반격을 내내 잊고 있다. 자연이 인간에게 주는 경고의 수준은 날로 그 강도가 높아가고 있다. 세계의 많은 석학들은 미래 사회를 환경의 세기로 예언하면서 지구 환경적 위기와 생태적 위기에 관한 글들을 발표해 왔다.1) 이들 학자들의 공통점은 지금까지의 사유와 행동 방식으로부터 벗어난 가치관의 전환을 통하여 환경과 자연을 생각하고 표현하는 방식의 근본적인 변화를 강조하고 있다는 점이다. 21세기를 전후하여 인간의 문제와 생태계 위기 등의 부정적 양상의 원인을 규명하고 새로운 대안을 탐색하는 철학적 노력들이 활기차게 진행되고 있다. 이러한 노력은 과학 비판적 시각으로 시대의 문제를 예리하게 파헤치고 있는 학자들을 중심으로 이루어지고 있다. 이들은 20세기까지 인간이 인간을 위해 이룩한 과학문명이 전 생태계를 위협하고 있음을 지적하면서 현재의 생명경시와 생명파괴는 인륜적 도덕의 붕괴와 인간의 실존적 위기를 낳을것이라고 경고하고 있다. 위기적 상황을 극복하기 위해 인간중심의 근대 철학에서 탈 인간중심 철학, 즉 생태주의로 바뀌어야 한다고 주장한다(노상우, 2003).

영문 초록

This study was conducted focusing on a literature research collecting and analyzing relevant literature in order to secure legitimacy of the study subject and content. Major study results have been drawn as follows: First, global environmental destruction is due to human-oriented growth value. From this, we can see that proper ecological education should advocate a new paradigm to transform our philosophical perceptions of the world, and informatively change our life patterns beyond a goal of simple environmental protection. Second, the inherent goals of ecology and art education were found to be the nurture of a harmonious personality. Third, ecological curriculum should be the one guiding us into a spiritual self-conscious path, in that all creatures shape the relationship network to mutually survive and permanently depend upon each other within the cosmic life system. Fourth, a direction to actualize ecological art education based on the research details was presented in the following way: art education as life, art education for cultivation of aesthetic sensitivity, and art education for ecological self-consciousness and revival of spirituality. Fifth, the character, goals, content, and methods of ecological art curriculum were presented by developing the curriculum. As for the character, a configuration system of the curriculum was drawn up by devising the basic system of ecological art curriculum. Concerning the goals, art education imbued with vitality was presented through the harmonious development and unity of sensitivity, affection, and soul. For content, matters like the five senses, intuition, context, formative principles, cosmos, and relationships were presented in the domains of direct experience, aesthetic perception, and spiritual self-consciousness.
