영문 초록

Objective : This study is to evaluate the reliabilities of Barthel Activities of Daily Living (BADL) and Blessed Dementia Ratng Scale (BDRS). Methods : Test-retest reliabilities using k and agreement coefficient( % ) and internal consistencies using Pearson’s correlation coefficient between each item and Cronbach a were com puted in 89 institutionalized people aged 60 or more. Results : Agreement coefficients between the first and second assessments of the BADL ranged from 65 to 95%, and ks from .386 to .894. Inter-item Pearson’s correlation coefficients of the BADL were between .422 and .922 with m ean of .674. The BADL’s a was .948. Test-retest agreement coefficients of the BDRS ranged from 65 to 100%, and the test-retest ks were between .484 and 1.000. The correlation coefficients between the BDRS items were .325 to .906, averaged .570. Cronbach a of the BDRS was .907. Conclusion : The reliabilities of the BADL and BDRS appear to be satisfactory on the basis of test-retest concordance, inter-item correlation and Cronbach a.
