국문 초록

This paper explores the intrinsic connection between Ningbo’s port-city culture and the Zhe-dong School of practical learning. Across thousands of years of development, Ningbo has stood out among many cities, demonstrating foresight in the development of industry, commerce, and port trade. By skillfully leveraging rich hinterland resources and advantageous geographic location, Ningbo has fostered urban economic growth. Behind this lies the influence of the Zhe-dong School, whose core idea of “practical learning for public affairs” and “embracing diversity” is deeply rooted in the mindset of Ningbo’s people. This mindset drives Ningbo’s port-city economy forward even before formal policy, collectively shaping Ningbo’s distinctive urban spirit and open and inclusive city image. Today, the Zhe-dong spirit continues to penetrate practice, integrating economy, culture and tourism, and education in the new era to develop a coordinated port-city cultural-economic system.

영문 초록

本文探讨了宁波港城文化与浙东实学密切联系的内在渊源。在几千年的发展历程中，宁波能够在众多城市中脱颖而出，凭借对工商业和港口贸易的发展的前瞻性感知力，巧妙运用深厚的腹地资源和优越的地理位置发展城市经济，这得益于浙东学派的思想的影响。该学派所宣扬的“经世致用，兼容并蓄”的核心思想，深深植根于宁波市民的心中，以思想先于政策带动宁波港城经济开创性发展，共同塑造了宁波独特的城市精神和开放包容的城市形象。如今浙东精神也依旧不断深入实践，在新时代中融合经济、文旅、教育等方面深入发展，构建港城文化协调发展的体系。
