국문 초록
In the contemporary context of increasingly intense global competition in cultural soft power, Wushu, as an intangible cultural vehicle of Chinese civilization, undergoes a process of international dissemination that is essentially a practice of cross-cultural reconstruction of its cultural symbol system. Grounded in Peirce’s triadic model of semiotics, this study deconstructs how core signifiers within the Wushu system — such as “techniques,” “weapons,” and “etiquette” — achieve the reproduction of their signified meanings in heterogeneous cultural fields through semantic transposition and contextual adaptation. Through a comparative analysis of Wushu dissemination cases in different cultural spheres, such as Europe, America, and Southeast Asia, it is found that the symbolic presentation of body techniques can break through language barriers to generate universal resonance, while also leading to differentiated interpretations of meaning due to the effect of cultural filters. The research reveals the hierarchical construction mechanism of Wushu cultural symbols: the surface-level technical system carries aesthetic value, the middle-level ethical norms convey philosophical thought, and the deep-level worldview reflects the Eastern cognitive paradigm of “the unity of heaven and humanity” (Tian Ren He Yi). This multidimensional symbol system, disseminated through channels such as international competitions, film and television media, and educational exchanges, significantly enhances the target audience’s understanding of China’s cultural concepts of “harmony and integration” (He He), thereby reshaping a national image that combines traditional heritage with modern vitality. The study suggests that future dissemination strategies should establish a symbol screening matrix, differentiate between competitive, lifestyle-oriented, and ritualistic dissemination paths, achieve in-depth cultural dialogue through symbolic combination and innovation, and ultimately form a sustainable paradigm for national image shaping.
영문 초록
在全球文化软实力竞争日益激烈的当代语境下,武术作为中华文明的非物质文化载体,其国际传播过程实质上是文化符号系统的跨文化重构实践。本研究基于皮尔斯符号学三元理论框架,解构武术体系中“招式”“器械”“礼仪”等核心能指如何通过语义置换与语境适配,在异质文化场域中实现所指意义的再生产。通过比较分析武术在欧美、东南亚等不同文化圈层的传播案例,发现身体技术的符号化呈现既能突破语言壁垒产生普适性共鸣,又因文化滤镜作用导致意义诠释的差异化现象。研究揭示武术文化符号的层级建构机制:表层技术体系承载审美价值,中层伦理规范传递哲学思想,深层宇宙观则体现“天人合一”的东方认知范式。这种多维符号系统通过国际赛事、影视媒介和教育交流等渠道,显著提升了目标受众对中国“和合”文化理念的认知度,进而重塑了兼具传统底蕴与现代活力的国家形象。研究建议未来传播策略应建立符号筛选矩阵,区分竞技化、生活化与仪式化传播路径,通过符号组合创新实现文化深度对话,最终形成具有可持续影响力的国家形象塑造范式。
