국문 초록

This paper explores the potential application of generative artificial intelligence in addressing key issues in College English teaching for art and design majors, such as lack of interest, content disconnection, and insufficient personalized instruction. Based on instructional practices across the stages of pre-class preparation, in-class interaction, and post-class extension, the study proposes concrete strategies for integrating generative AI—such as using AI to expand students’ professional background knowledge, constructing language communication scenarios relevant to their disciplines, and designing tasks that promote deep critical thinking— to foster the integration of language competence with professional literacy. The findings suggest that AI technology can enhance classroom interactivity and engagement, optimize teaching resources, and meet personalized learning needs, thereby effectively improving students’ English proficiency and their ability to express themselves professionally. The paper also discusses existing challenges in AI-assisted teaching, including technical limitations, insufficient AI literacy among teachers and students, and concerns about data privacy. It calls for the establishment of systematic support mechanisms to achieve a deeper integration of technology and pedagogy.

영문 초록

针对艺术设计专业大学英语教学中存在的兴趣缺失、内容脱节和个性化指导不足等问题,本文探讨了生成式人工智能在教学中的应用潜力。通过课前、课中、课后三个环节的教学实践,提出融合生成式人工智能的具体策略,如利用AI 拓展学生的专业背景知识、构建与专业相关的语言交际情境、设计深度思辨任务等,以提升学生语言能力与专业素养的融合发展。研究表明,AI 技术有助于增强课堂互动性与趣味性,优化教学资源,满足个性化学习需求,进而有效提升学生英语应用能力和专业表达能力。同时,文章也分析了当前AI 教学面临的技术局限性、师生AI 素养不足与数据安全等挑战,呼吁建立系统性支持机制,以实现技术与教学的深度融合。
