국문 초록

본 연구는 EQ의 스펙트럼 자동 매칭 기능의 정확도 및 사용자 만족도를 다각도로 분석하였다. 다양한 악기(기타, 베이스, 피아노, 브라스)와 연주형태(단일 음높이, 선율, 주파수 변조, 기성곡)를 대상으로 Pro-Q3와 MatchEQ 두 EQ 툴의 음질 매칭 성능과 만족도를 비교하였다. 반복측정 ANOVA를 통해 제품, 악기 유형, 연주형태의 주효과 및 이들의 상호작용 효과가 유의함을 확인하였고, Friedman 비모수 검정으로도 일관된 차이를 입증하였다. 평가자 간 높은 일관성(ICC=.82) 과 우수한 내적 신뢰도(Cronbach’s alpha=.91)를 확인하여 신뢰성 있는 결과임을 제시한다. 분석 결과, MatchEQ는 전반적으로 Pro-Q3보다 선호도가 높았으며, 특히 피아노 및 브라스 연주에서 그 차이가 두드러졌다. 본 연구는 AI 기술을 활용한 음향 처리 분야에서의 EQ 매칭 기술 발전 및 적용에 유의미한 시사점을 제공하고, 스펙트럼 자동 매칭 기능이 홈 스튜디오, 소규모 음악 제작 환경의음향 품질과 작업 효율성 제고에 실질적 기여가 가능함을 확인하며, 향후 자동화알고리즘의 정밀화 및 다양한 장르·연주 방식 적용의 필요성을 제안한다.

영문 초록

This study comprehensively analyzed the accuracy and user satisfaction of the EQ spectrum automatic matching function. We compared the sound quality matching performance and satisfaction levels of two EQ tools, Pro-Q3 and MatchEQ, across various instruments, including guitar, bass, piano, and brass, and performance types such as single pitch, melody, frequency modulation, and commercial tracks. Through repeated-measures ANOVA, we confirmed significant main effects of product type, instrument category, and performance style, as well as significant interactions among these factors. Consistent differences were further validated using the Friedman non- parametric test. High inter-rater reliability (ICC = .82) and excellent internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha = .91) support the reliability of the findings. Overall, MatchEQ exhibited higher user preference compared to Pro-Q3, especially noticeable in piano and brass performances. This research provides meaningful implications for the development and application of EQ matching technologies using AI in the field of audio processing. It also confirms the practical contributions of spectrum automatic matching functions in enhancing audio quality and work efficiency in home studio and small-scale music production environments, suggesting the need for further precision improvement in automation algorithms and adaptation to various genres and performance styles.
