전국에 건립된 독도체험관 현황과 운영의 방향 모색

국문 초록

이 연구는 전국 17개 시도에 건립된 독도체험관의 운영 현황과 교육적 활용 실태를 종합적으로 분석하여, 독도교육의 실효성과 지속가능성을 제고하기 위한 방안을 모색하였다. 독도체험관은 초중등학교 학생들에게 실질적인 독도교육 경험을 제공하는 중요한 교육적 및 문화적 공간으로 자리매김하고 있으며, 디지털 체험, 참여형 콘텐츠 등을 통해 학습의 관심과 주권 의식을 강화하는 역할을 수행하고 있다. 그러나 콘텐츠의 획일화, 전문 인력 부족, 프로그램 지속성의 한계 등 구조적 문제점도 나타나고 있다. 따라서 이 연구는 지역 맞춤형 콘텐츠 개발, 독도 해설사의 전문화, 교과와 연계한 체험 확대, 전국 단위의 독도교육 네트워크 구축 등을 통해 독도체험관이 독도교육의 실천적 거점이자 국가 정체성 함양의 중추적 플랫폼으로 기능할 수 있는 전략적 방향을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the operational status and educational utilization of Dokdo Experience Centers in 17 cities and provinces across the country, and to seek ways to improve the effectiveness and sustainability of Dokdo education. Dokdo Experience Centers have established as important educational and cultural spaces that provide practical Dokdo education experiences to elementary, middle, and high school students, and play a role in strengthening learning engagement and sovereignty awareness through digital experiences, interactive content, and exhibition composition combined with regional characteristics. However, some problems such as uniformity of content, lack of professional manpower, and limitations in program sustainability are also emerging. Therefore, this study proposed a strategic direction so that Dokdo Experience Centers can function as a practical base for Dokdo education and a central platform for fostering national identity through the development of regionally customized content, specialization of Dokdo guides, expansion of experiences linked to curriculum, and establishment of a nationwide Dokdo education network.
