진로전담교사의 진로상담 자기효능감 척도 개발 및 타당화

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 진로전담교사를 대상으로 진로상담 자기효능감을 평가하는 자가평가 척도를 개발하고, 그 타당성을 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구방법: 진로전담교사의 진로상담 관련 선행연구와 진로상담 자기효능감, 진로전담교사의 직무에 대한 문헌을 분석하여 96개의 예비 문항을 도출하였다. 이후 학교 진로상담 전문가의 평정을 거쳐 예비 문항을 검토하였다. 예비조사에서는 전국 중학교와 일반계 고등학교에 근무하는 진로전담교사 234명의 응답 자료를 활용하여 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 본조사에서는 548명의 응답 자료를 활용하여 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였고, 개발된 척도의 신뢰도, 수렴타당도, 판별타당도, 준거타당도를 분석하였다. 연구결과: 최종적으로 ‘내담자 역량강화 조력’, ‘정보 및 자원 활용’, ‘상담자 태도 및 자질’, ‘진로상담 수행 일반기술’, ‘진로상담 수행 특화기술’의 5개 요인 36개 문항으로 척도가 구성되었다. 전체 신뢰도는 .964, 하위요인 신뢰도는 .808~.895로 높게 나타났다. 확인적 요인분석 결과 5개 요인이 하나의 상위요인에 포함되는 위계적 요인구조로 확인되었으며, 모델적합도도 양호한 수준이었다. 결론: 진로전담교사의 진로상담 자기효능감 척도는 신뢰도와 타당도가 확보된 척도임을 확인하였다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로, 해당 척도의 진로전담교사 진로상담 역량 강화 교육 및 연수에서의 활용 방안과 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop and validate a scale for assessing the career counseling self-efficacy of career counseling teachers. Methods: For this purpose, 96 preliminary items were developed by analyzing previous studies on the career counseling of career counseling teachers, as well as literature on career counseling self-efficacy and the roles of career counseling teachers. These preliminary items were then evaluated by school career counseling experts. A preliminary study involving 234 career counseling teachers across South Korea was conducted to perform an EFA. Subsequently, a main study with a sample of 548 participants was carried out to conduct both EFA and CFA. Results: The final scale consisted of 36 items across five factors “Client Empowerment Facilitation”, “Information and Resources Utilization”, “Counselor Attitudes and Competencies”, “General Career Counseling Skills”, and “Specialized Career Counseling Skills”. The scale demonstrated excellent internal consistency reliability (Cronbach’s α = .964 overall; subscales ranged from .808 to .895). CFA supported a hierarchical factor structure in which the five sub-factors were subsumed under a single higher-order factor. Model fit indices indicated an acceptable level of model fit. Conclusion: The results confirm that the developed scale is a psychometrically sound tool with strong reliability and validity. Implications for the use of the scale in training and professional development programs for career counseling teachers are discussed.
