국문 초록

이 연구는 최근 인과관계에 대한 논의가 있는 청소년 음주 및 흡연과 사회적 자본에 대한 논의이다. 많은 이론들이 청소년 음주 및 흡연과 사회적 자본의 인과관계에 대한 논의를 뒷받침 하고 있으며, 이 연구에서 관련 이론에 대한 논의를 주로 다루고 있다. 특히, Sampson과 Laub의 연령-등급이론에서 핵심개념으로 소개되는 누적적 지속에 대해 중점적으로 다루고자 했다. 종단데이터를 활용함으로써 누적적 지속의 과정을 효과적으로 확인하기 위해 자기회귀교차지연분석모델을 활용했으며, 분석결과를 통해 누적적 지속에 관한 이론검증을 시도했다. 분석결과 많은 사회적 자본 중에서 비행청소년 수에 있어서 누적적 지속의 상호적 인과관계에 있다는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 사회적 자본과 청소년 음주 및 흡연의 인과관계에 대해서 범죄의 원인으로서만 분석된 과거의 연구와 달리 최근 그 인과관계에 대한 명확한 분석을 위해 종단데이터를 중심으로 많은 연구가 이어져 오고 있다. 특히 이 연구에서 주로 다루고자 했던 연령-등급이론의 누적적 지속을 확인할 수 있는 결과라고 할 수 있을 것이다. 이런 결과는 사회적 자본과 음주 및 흡연과 같은 물질사용의 인과관계를 명확히 제시하고 있지는 않지만, 청소년의 비행 및 범죄에 대한 원인을 탐색하기 위한 새로운 접근을 제안할 수 있는 결과다. 사회적 자본 중 부모관계, 교사관계, 친구관계는 누적적 지속의 이론적 논의를 뒷받침 할 수 있는 변수로 확인되지 않았다. 따라서 최근 해외연구에서 확인 할 수 있듯이 사회적 자본 역시 범죄 및 비행을 설명하는 원인론적 관점에서 세부적으로 구분지어 연구해야 함을 제안하는 결과라고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study is a debate on youth drinking, smoking and social capital, which have recently discussed causality. Many theories support the debate about the causal relationship between alcohol drinking and smoking and social capital, and this study mainly deals with the discussion of related theories. In particular, I would like to focus on the cumulative continuity introduced by Sampson and Laub as key concepts in the Age-graded theory. The autoregressive cross-lagged analysis model was used to validate the cumulative persistence by longitudinal survey data. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the number of juvenile delinquents among social capital is in an interaction relation with drinking and smoking. In this study, we can conclude that the cumulative persistence of the age - rating theory that we have mainly dealt with. It does not explicitly address the causal relationship between social capital and substance use, such as drinking and smoking. However, this is a result of suggesting a new approach to exploring the causes of juvenile delinquency and crime. Parents, teachers, and friendships in social capital were not identified as variables that could support the theoretical discussion of cumulative persistence. As a result, it can be concluded that social capital should be studied in detail from the causal point of view explaining crime and delinquency.
