국문 초록

This study aims to explore the educational potential of coffee content in stimulating learners’ interest and developing creative and practical educational programs through an interdisciplinary approach. Specifically, the purpose of this study is twofold. First, it seeks to analyze the educational potential of coffee content from various perspectives. Second, it focuses on demonstrating the value of effective integrated education based on this analysis. In doing so, the study intends to establish that coffee content can serve as an integrated learning resource that not only enhances students’ historical and cultural understanding but also extends to the application of scientific principles, technological applications, and the awareness of economic and environmental issues. To achieve this, the methodology of the study centered on reviewing relevant literature, analyzing case studies, and designing and evaluating educational programs. The results confirmed that coffee content can contribute to enhancing students’ creativity, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills through its integration with various academic disciplines. Specifically, it was found that a humanities-based approach facilitates an understanding of cultural and historical contexts, scientific and technological experiments provide opportunities to apply theory to practice, and discussions and projects addressing economic and environmental issues foster a sense of social responsibility. These findings suggest that the development and implementation of interdisciplinary integrated educational programs based on coffee content are necessary in future educational settings. Furthermore, the study confirmed that the educational value of coffee content significantly contributes to stimulating learners’ motivation. Coffee, as a familiar and engaging subject, possesses sufficient appeal and value as an educational resource to encourage active learning participation. Additionally, its interdisciplinary potential—namely, its capacity to provide integrated educational opportunities across various fields such as history, economics, science, and the environment—underscores the necessity of harnessing the educational value of coffee content.
