국문 초록

청소년 범죄는 오랫동안 사회적 문제로 인식되고 이와 관련된 학계의 연구가 이루어져 왔다. 현대 사회에서는 사이버 범죄, 학교 폭력, 마약류 범죄 등 다양한 형태로 나타나고 있다. 따라서 범죄 청소년을 대상으로 한 교육의 역할이 점점 더 강조되고 있으며, 국내외에서 청소년 범죄와 교육의 관계를 탐색하는 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구는 2005년부터 2024년까지 약 20년간 한국연구재단(KCI) 등재 및 등재후보 학술지에 게재된 ‘범죄청소년’과 ‘교육’ 관련 연구를 분석하여 연구 동향을 파악하고, 향후 연구 및 정책 수립을 위한 기초 자료 제공을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 워드클라우드분석, 키워드 동시 출현 빈도 분석, 네트워크 분석, 토픽 모델링을 활용하여 연구 주제와 흐름을 체계적으로 검토하였다. 분석 결과, 2012년을 기점으로 관련 연구가 증가했으며, ‘학교’가 가장 핵심적인 키워드로 도출되었다. 또한, ‘폭력-학교’, ‘범죄예방-학교’ 등의 키워드 조합이 주요 연구 주제로 나타나, 학교가 청소년 범죄 예방의 핵심 공간으로 작용함을 확인하였다. 네트워크 분석 결과에서도 ‘청소년비행’과 ‘범죄예방’이 연구의 중심 개념으로 기능하며 다양한 주제와 연결되어 있음을 보여주었다. 토픽 모델링 분석에서는 연구 주제가 ‘사이버범죄’, ‘학교 폭력’, ‘범죄예방’, ‘청소년 범죄 연구 및 정책’의 네 가지 영역으로 분류되었으며, 특히 사이버범죄와 온라인 환경에서의 청소년 비행이 중요한 연구 주제로 부각되었다. 이에 따라 디지털 리터러시 교육과 AI 기반의 범죄 감시 시스템 도입, 학교 중심의 예방 교육 프로그램 개발 등의 전략이 필요함을 제언한다. 본 연구는 청소년 범죄와 교육의 관계를 종합적으로 분석함으로써 학문적·정책적 시사점을 제시하는 데 기여하였다. 향후 연구에서는 보다 구체적인 정책적 시사점을 도출하고, 실천적 접근 방안을 모색하는 것이 필요할 것이다. 특히, AI 기반의 사이버 범죄 감시 시스템 도입, 가정 및 지역사회와 연계한 청소년 보호 체계 구축, 학교 내 예방 교육 프로그램 개발 등의 전략이 요구된다. 미래 주역인 청소년들이 안전하고 건강한 환경에서 자라날 수 있도록 지원하고, 교육이 범죄 예방의 중요한 도구로 기능할 수 있도록 하는 것이 중요하다.

영문 초록

Juvenile delinquency has long been recognized as a significant social issue, manifesting in various forms such as cybercrime, school violence, and drug-related offenses. Education has increasingly been emphasized as a crucial mechanism for prevention and intervention, leading to a growing body of research exploring its relationship with juvenile delinquency. This study analyzes research trends on “juvenile delinquency” and “education” by examining articles published in Korea Citation Index (KCI)-listed and candidate journals from 2005 to 2024. Utilizing word cloud analysis, keyword co-occurrence analysis, network analysis, and topic modeling, this study systematically investigates key research themes and developments. The findings indicate a notable increase in research on this topic since 2012, with “school” emerging as the most prominent keyword. Co-occurrence analysis highlights key thematic associations such as “violence-school” and “crime prevention-school,” underscoring schools’ role as pivotal institutions for prevention and intervention. Network analysis further demonstrates that “juvenile delinquency” and “crime prevention” function as central concepts, interconnected with various themes. Topic modeling classifies the research into four primary domains: cybercrime, school violence, crime prevention, and juvenile delinquency research and policy. The growing significance of cybercrime and delinquent behaviors in online environments highlights the need for digital literacy education, AI-driven crime monitoring systems, and school-centered prevention programs. By comprehensively analyzing the relationship between juvenile delinquency and education, this study contributes to both academic discourse and policy implications. Future research should focus on deriving concrete policy recommendations and exploring practical approaches. In particular, integrating AI-based cybercrime monitoring, establishing youth protection frameworks in collaboration with families and communities, and developing school-based prevention programs are essential. These initiatives are critical to fostering a safer environment for youth development and reinforcing education as a fundamental tool for crime prevention.
