칭의와 정의 - 사회적 칭의론에 대한 신학적 평가

국문 초록

사회적 칭의론은 바울의 칭의론을 사회학적으로 해석하고자 한다. 칭의와 정의를 연결하여 칭의의 본질은 단순한 죄 용서가 아니라 사회적 약자의 권리를 회복하는 등 사회 속에서 정의롭게 사는 것이라고 본다. 사회적 칭의론은 종교개혁적 칭의론이 칭의와 정의를 분리시켰다고 보고, 하나님의 정의를 사회적 정의로 해석한다. 이러한 칭의에 대한 사회적 차원 해석은 믿음에 기인한 하나님의 은혜(구원)를 정의로운 행동과 동일시한다. 사회적 칭의론은 종교개혁적 칭의론의 의도를 오해하고 있다. 구원과 정의는 혼동되어서는 안 된다. 구원과 정의는 구별되어야 하나 분리시켜서는 안 된다. 구원은 정의로운 행동으로 얻는 것이 아니라 하나님의 은총으로 얻는 것이다. 이 구원에서 그 선한 결실로 이웃 사랑이라는 정의의 열매가 맺히는 것이다. 바울의 칭의론은 오로지 하나님의 은총에서 출발하여 이웃을 향한 선한 행실의 결실로 나아간다. 사회적 정의로 결실 맺는다. 하지만 칭의는 정의로운 인간의 행위로 이루어지는 것이 아니다. 이는 복음을 율법으로 변질시키는 것이다. 예수 그리스도의 복음은 칭의의 사역에서 끝나지 않고 성화의 열매로 완성된다. 두 가지는 분리되지 않고 서로 연결된다. 칭의는 시작이며 성화는 열매다. 칭의는 아직 성화가 아니나 자라서 성화를 결실한다. 선행이 없는 믿음이나 선행 없이 유지되는 칭의는 성경적이 아니다. 믿음과 선행이 반드시 서로 굳게 결합된다. 칭의의 기초는 선행이 아니라 믿음이다.

영문 초록

The doctrine of social Justification intends to interpret sociologically Paulinic doctrine of justification. It, connecting justification and justice, views the core of justification is not merely forgiving sins, but living in justice in the society in such a way as restoring the rights of social weak. The doctrine of social justification interprets the justice of God as social justice, viewing the reformational doctrine of justification separates justification and justice. Such social dimensional interpretation of justification identifies the grace(salvation) of God with the just action. The doctrine of social justification misunderstands the intention of the reformational doctrine of justification. Salvation and justice should not be confused. They should be distinguished, not separated. Salvation is earned not by a just action but by the grace of God. Salvation brings forth by the good product the fruit of justice. The Paulinic doctrine of justification starts from the grace of God, proceeds to come to good fruition toward the neighbor that is social justice. However. Justification is not earned by just human works. This degenerates Gospel to law. The Gospel of Jesus Christ does not end merely at producing the justification, but completes in producing the sanctification. Two are not different. Justification is beginning, sanctification fruit.. Two are not separated, but connected with each other. Justification is not yet sanctification, grows, and produces sanctification. Neither faith without good work nor justification without faith is biblical. Faith and good work are essentially connected. The basis of justification is not good work but faith.
