국문 초록

Purpose : This study aimed to examine the professional role and clinical competence of clinical nurse educators, as well as to explore interprofessional relations among relevant nursing staff. Method : The study participants consisted of 175 individuals: 40 clinical nurse educators registered as educational personnel responsible for on-site guidance in five tertiary hospitals; 51 head nurses and 84 preceptors who had experience training new nurses alongside clinical nurse educators. Descriptive statistics, the Kruskal-Wallis test, and the Mann-Whitney U test were performed using SPSS 30.0. Results : There were statistically significant differences in role expectations(H＝31.06, p＜.001) and role performance(H＝26.32, p＜.001) among the three groups. Additionally, there were statistically significant differences in perceptions of collaboration between clinical nurse educators and head nurses(Z＝-6.97, p＜.001), as well as between clinical nurse educators and preceptors(Z＝-4.47, p＜.001). Conclusion : This study identified differences in role expectations, role performance, and perceptions of collaboration among head nurses, clinical nurse educators, and preceptors. To enhance the consistency and efficiency of new nurse education, active communication and coordination among these roles are essential. Furthermore, Clear role delineation and adequate staffing are necessary to improve the clinical competence of clinical nurse educators.
