국문 초록

본 연구는 한의학박사제도가 입안되어 최초의 한의학박사가 수여되는 과정을 정리하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 한의학박사제도의 신설 과정을 살펴보고, 한의학박사제도의 신설의 제도적 보완을 위한 활동을 돌아보았다. 이후에 최초의 한의학박사 탄생 과정을 살펴보고, 마지막으로 한의학박사제도 신설의 의의를 고찰했다. 한의학박사제도는 한의학의 발전을 위해 동서의학의 비교연구, 동양의학의 원리 규명과 임상치료 및 연구방법의 체계화 등 연구 방법론의 합리화를 위해 계획되어 성공적으로 만들어졌으며 현재까지 잘 운용되고 있다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study is to outline the process through which the doctoral system in Korean medicine was established and the first doctorate in Korean medicine was awarded. To achieve this, the study first examines the process of establishing the doctoral system in Korean medicine and reviews activities undertaken to complement the institutional framework of the new system. Subsequently, it explores the process of awarding the first doctorate in Korean medicine and finally considers the significance of establishing the doctoral system. The doctoral system in Korean medicine was designed and successfully implemented to advance Korean medicine by promoting comparative studies between Eastern and Western medicine, elucidating the principles of Korean medicine, and systematizing clinical treatment and research methodologies. It continues to be effectively operated to this day.
