국문 초록

최근 전자상거래 시장의 지속적인 성장에 따라 소비자에게 가장 신속 정확하게 화물을 전달할 수 있는 항공운송의 중요성이강조되고 있다. 항공산업은 글로벌 공급망 압력으로 인한 영향에 민감하게 반응하는 산업으로, 본 연구는 글로벌 공급망 압력 지수를 활용하여 글로벌 공급망 압력이 우리나라 노선별 항공 물동량에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 벡터자기회귀모형(Vector Autoregression Model)/벡터오차수정모형(Vector Error Correction Model) 분석을 진행하였다. 분석결과, 글로벌 공급망 압력 지수는 일본, 아시아, 중동, 미국, 유럽, 오세아니아, 전체 물동량에 통계적으로 음(-)의 영향을 유의하게 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이와반대로, 글로벌 공급망 압력 지수는 중국 물동량에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 주지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 이후 충격반응함수(Impulse-Response Function)와 예측오차 분산분해(Forecasting Error Variance Decomposition) 분석을 진행하여 글로벌 공급망 리스크가 우리나라 노선별 항공 물동량에 미치는 영향에 대한 다양한 시사점을 도출하였다. 이러한 결과는 우리나라 항공산업이 예측 불가능한 글로벌 공급망 압력에 대하여 효과적으로 대응하고 전략을 수립하는데 있어 중요한 정보를 제공한다.

영문 초록

With the recent continuous growth of the e-commerce market, the importance of air transportation, which can deliver cargo to consumers most quickly and accurately, has been emphasized. The aviation industry reacts sensitively to the effects of global supply chain pressure, and this study conducted a vector autoregression model/vector error correction model analysis to understand the impact of global supply chain pressure on air cargo by route in South Korea using the global supply chain pressure index. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the global supply chain pressure index had a statistically significant negative (-) effect on the total volume of goods in Japan, Asia, the Middle East, the United States, Europe, Oceania, and all of them. On the contrary, it was found that the global supply chain pressure index did not have a statistically significant effect on the volume of goods in China. After that, various implications for the impact of global supply chain risks on air cargo by route in South Korea were derived by conducting an impulse-response function and a prediction error variance decomposition analysis. These results provide important information for the aviation industry in South Korea to effectively respond to unpredictable global supply chain pressures and establish strategies.
