국내ㆍ외 상실 경험자 대상 음악 중재에 대한 통합적 문헌고찰

국문 초록

상실 경험자는 상실 이후 심리ㆍ정서적 어려움, 사회적 관계 단절, 삶의 의미 재구성 등 복합적인 위기에 직면하지만, 이를 체계적으로 지원할 수 있는 음악 중재의 전문적 지침 및 실천적방향은 여전히 부족하다. 이에 본 연구는 국내ㆍ외 상실 경험자 대상 음악 중재 연구를 통합적으로 분석하여 효과적인 음악 중재의 핵심 요소를 도출하고, 임상 현장에서 실제 적용 가능한중재 방향과 실천 전략을 제시하고자 하였다. 선정 기준을 충족한 총 39편의 논문을 대상으로대상자 특성, 음악 사용 방식, 중재 효과를 검토하였다. 분석 결과, 효과적인 음악 중재를 위해서는 상실 유형을 고려한 맞춤형 중재, 상실 경험자들이 상호 정서적 지지를 경험할 수 있는환경 조성, 복합적 감정의 표현 및 정서 조절 촉진, 그리고 음악 중재 제공자의 상실에 대한이해와 전문성이 필수적인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 이러한 핵심 중재 요소들을 ‘상실 유형별 심리적 요구와 적응 과업을 반영한 개별화된 중재 구성’, ‘상실 경험의 공유와 상호 지지를촉진하는 그룹 기반 음악 중재’, ‘상실 경험자의 복합적 감정 표현과 정서 조절을 촉진하는음악 활용’, ‘상실 과정에 대한 이해 및 전문성을 갖춘 중재자의 역량’으로 구체화하였다. 이를통해 본 연구는 상실 경험자 대상 음악 중재가 임상 현장에서 실질적으로 적용될 수 있는 구체적인 실천 전략을 제시하고, 상실 경험자의 특성에 적합한 효과적인 중재 설계를 위한 근거를제공하였다는 데 의의를 갖는다.

영문 초록

Individuals with loss experience, loss often face complex challenges, including psychological and emotional distress, disruption of social relationships, and the need to reconstruct life’s meaning. However, there remains a lack of systematic clinical guidelines and practical directions for music interventions that effectively support this population. This study aimed to conduct an integrative review of Korean and English-written research on music interventions for individuals with loss experiences, while identifying key components of effective interventions and proposing applicable clinical strategies. A total of 39 studies were included and analyzed. The analysis showed that effective music interventions require creation of emotionally supportive environments for mutual support, customized interventions based on the type of loss, facilitation of complex emotional expression and emotion regulation, and the provider’s professional competence and understanding of the grieving process. Based on these findings, the study identified four core components of effective music interventions: (1) individualized intervention reflecting the psychological needs and adaptive tasks associated with type of loss, (2) group-based music interventions that promote the sharing of loss experiences and mutual support, (3) musical activities that facilitate the expression of complex emotions and support emotional regulation, and (4) intervention providers with expertise and understanding of the grief process. This study is significant in that it provides concrete and applicable intervention strategies for clinical practice and offers evidence-based guidance for designing effective music interventions tailored to the unique characteristics of individuals experiencing loss.
