중등 음악 교사의 에듀테크 활용 실태 및 인식 조사

국문 초록

본 연구는 중등 음악 교사의 음악 교과 에듀테크 활용 실태와 효과성에 대한 인식을 조사하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 전국의 중등학교 음악 교사 102명을 대상으로 조사 연구를 시행하여 설문 응답 결과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같이 요약된다. 첫째, 에듀테크 활용 빈도는 감상 영역에서 가장 높았으며, 연주 및 창작 영역에서는 상대적으로 낮았다. 이는 교사들이 전통적인 음악교육 방식을 중시하고, 직접적인 음악 경험을 강조하기 때문으로 해석된다. 둘째, 음악 교사들은 주로 가상 악기 및 기보/악보 프로그램을 활용하였으며, AI, VR, AR, 메타버스와 같은 신기술의 활용도는 낮게 나타났다. 이는 교사들의 신기술 활용 경험이 부족하고, 관련 교육 기회가 충분하지 않기 때문으로 분석된다. 셋째, 음악 교사들은 에듀테크를 학생 맞춤형 학습을 지원하는 도구로 활용하며, 연주 영역에서는 개별 학습을 촉진하고, 감상및 창작 영역에서는 다양한 학습 콘텐츠를 제공하여 학생 참여를 높이는 데 활용하고 있었다. 넷째, 초임 교사들은 창작 및 연주 활동에서 에듀테크를 적극적으로 활용하는 반면, 경력 교사들은 기존 교수법을 보완하는 도구로 활용하는 경향을 보였다. 본 연구 결과는, 음악교육의 다양한 영역에서 에듀테크 활용을 활성화하기 위해 경제적ㆍ기술적 지원을 확대하고 신기술을 적용한 음악교육 프로그램을 개발하며, 교사의 에듀테크 활용 역량 강화를 위한 컨설팅 운영 및 체계적인 연수의 필요성을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate secondary music teachers’ perceptions of the use and effectiveness of edtech in the music curriculum. A survey was conducted with 102 secondary school music teachers, and the collected responses were analyzed. The key findings are as follows. First, edtech was most frequently utilized in the listening domain, while its use was relatively low in the performance and composition domains. This may be attributed to teachers’ preference for traditional music education methods and their emphasis on direct musical experience. Second, music teachers primarily used virtual instruments and notation/score programs, whereas the adoption of emerging technologies such as AI, VR, AR, and the metaverse was significantly lower. This is likely due to teachers’ limited experience and insufficient training opportunities. Third, teachers employed edtech as a tool to support personalized learning, self-paced learning in performance and diverse educational contents in listening and composition. Fourth, novice teachers actively integrated edtech into performance and composition activities, whereas experienced teachers tended to use it as a complementary tool to reinforce traditional teaching methods. These findings suggest expanding financial and technical support and developing music education programs that integrate new technologies are essential to fostering edtech adoption across different areas of music education. Along with, systematic training and consulting services for enhancing teachers’ edtech competency.
