국문 초록

연구목적 성인 지체장애인의 평생교육 참여에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하고, 평생교육 참여가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법 광주광역시에 거주하는 성인 지체장애인을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 데이터를 바탕으로 다중회귀분석 및 구조방정식 모델 분석을 수행하였다. 연구결과 성인 지체장애인의 평생교육 참여 수준은 경제적 요인, 교육적 요인, 사회적 지원의 영향을 유의미하게 받는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 경제적 부담이 낮고, 교육 기회가 풍부하며, 가족 및 지역사회의 지원이 클수록장애인의 평생교육 참여가 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 또한, 평생교육 참여는 삶의 만족도에 직접적인 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며, 자기효능감이 이 관계에서 부분 매개 효과를 가지는 것으로 분석되었다. 즉, 평생교육 참여는 장애인의 자기효능감을 높이고, 이를 통해 삶의 만족도를 추가적으로 증가시키는 역할을 확인하였다. 구조방정식 모델을 통해 연구 모형의 적합도를 검증한 결과 연구 모형이 실증적으로 적절함이 확인되었다. 결론 장애인의 평생교육 참여를 촉진하기 위한 정책적 시사점을 도출하였으며, 경제적 지원 확대, 접근성 강화, 장애 친화적 교육 환경 조성 등의 개선 방안을 제안하였다. 또한, 향후 연구에서는 보다 다양한 장애 유형을 포함한 종단적 연구를 통해, 장애인의 장기적인 교육 참여 효과를 분석할 필요성이 있음을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose This study aimed to analyze the factors influencing lifelong education participation among adults with physical disabilities and to examine the impact of such participation on life satisfaction. Economic, educational, and social support were set as independent variables, lifelong educational participation as a mediating variable, and life satisfaction as the dependent variable. Method A structural equation modeling approach was employed to analyze these relationships. The study participants included 168 adults with physical disabilities residing in Gwangju, South Korea. Data were collected and analyzed using multiple regression and structural equation model (SEM) analysis. Results The results indicated that economic, educational and social support significantly influenced lifelong education participation. Furthermore, participation in lifelong education had a direct positive effect on life satisfaction. Self-efficacy exhibited a partial mediating effect in the relationship between participation in lifelong education and life satisfaction. Conclusion These findings suggest that enhancing economic support, improving educational accessibility, strengthening social support systems, and developing self-efficacy programs are essential for promoting lifelong educational participation among adults with physical disabilities.
